They are apples from the wild Apple tree that's why they're so tiny. I have one in front of my house

I don't think they're cranberries. cranberries have a small hole in the bottom and look more vibrant red. these look like a variety of cherry, a much smaller version than the typical canned or pie cherry. I forget the nomenclature but I picked them as a kid.
