Nathaniel Marshall is moving up the rankings. He is an Aiden Hutchinson-level of a prospect on the edge/DL. That's why the Mathis talk has died down, IMO. Ty Haywood is the final piece to this recruiting class and I'm good with that.
Gotta get some pass catcher talent that is for sure. Feel like that will be a big focus in the 2026 class, but would like to see them get one in the spring transfer portal window as well.
@@rocboysfootball Sherrone has stated an intention to be aggressive going after receivers in the spring portal. I like what they are doing now as far as stockpiling offensive linemen. Protect the investment. For me, the Bryce Underwood signing represents a new era of recruiting whereby we expect to sign the best of the best at every position. This has been the case with the Justice Haynes signing. Statistically, it is the case with Brady Norton also. It's trending to be so with Savion Hiter, and others. It needs to become the reality within our Wide Receiver room this spring for this team to reach its championship potential.
Ty Haywood and Andrew Sprague at opposite OT spots to protect Bryce Underwood for the next 2-3 years sounds really nice! Not to mention Babaloa coming in as another 5 star. Things are looking good for the future of the Michigan football! Go Blue!
Haywood gets the classic Michigan tumble. One of the last 5-stars on the comp. One rankings change away from being downgraded to a 4-star. It’s damn near every top-100 dude they target.
I concur every dam time Michigan signs a 5 Star ⭐ They waste no time in dropping them to a 4 Star ✨ the disrespect is so obvious and that's ok we will just keep winning and building the best culture in America.
With you you on that. Ill take an experienced OL any day of the week. Prefer Coogan as I think he is the better player and can play both center and guard.
NE needs Rocco more than UM, given NE loses to the portal so can offer him the starting role he wants, which UM never would. Like you, I prefer Coogan’s Center/Guard flexibility - far more valuable than a one trick pony. Also like what his coaches say re: Coogan’s leadership and positive attitude. Moore will require either player to compete, no guarantees…
Kinda what I think too. If Nebraska wants to push their chips in for Rocco, just feel like it is not worth it for Michigan to match. Big fan of Coogan as well.
Michigan Wolverine fans shouldn't feel good about Ty Haywood until he's committed and signed because a commit is not yours until he's signed with your program.

Dude Marshall already ranked higher than Hutch. Hutch was a low to mid 4 star coming out of high school on most sites
Agreed - UM is deep at Edge so don’t see Mathis as a key need now, especially if J Barham rotates between Edge and LB.
Facts
Love Nate Marshall. Outside of Bryce he is my favorite in the class. Incredible upside.
@ facts his going to be havoc at Michigan I’m so glad he changed his mind
When you're talking Michigan football, I'd really like to see a Michigan football helmet behind you
I'll send him a miniature one!😂
We gotta open up the checkbook and offer a Bryce Bag to some blue chip receivers and linebackers.

Haywood would move to guard.. and he’s elite guard size not elite tackle size
Link Sprague Babalola and Haywood all have 3 or more years left. If they land Haywood I'd spend remaining $ on a center or tight end.
@@spanmarkiola7260didn’t we get a top center recruit or transfer?
Stacking some REALLY talented OTs.

Agreed JJ was a 5 star everywhere but as soon as he goes to Michigan he drops to a 4 star but this is Michigan we are fuled by the disrespect#goblue

How do i get you a Michigan helmet?
I believe we used Carroll Sports for the Mini Helmets we have. The full sized helmets are harder to come by
Personally, I’d grade Coogan slightly higher than Spindler. But both offer upgrades. So I’m not going to be upset if they get either one.

I think Haywood has made his decision...and it is likely for Michigan. He and Babalola would give Michigan the bookends that great OLs are made of.
Get so fired up thinking about Haywood and Babs starting at Tackle over the next couple years. Both protecting Bryce.
We need both transfers portal o lineman
I'm starting to get the feeling that Haywood isn't gonna sign with us.
I’m feeling like that too but let us not think like that

Fair.
I’d rather have spindler. Just a better football player in my eyes. Cohan just doesn’t have it to me. But I’ll take him. The more the merrier.
More the merrier is right. I like Coogan a little more with the versatility, but I would be happy with either.
