Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit - Sarah and Brett July 2013

The Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit is a 116km circuit linking 10 lakes together via rivers and portages. Sarah Jeffery and Brett Healey completed the circuit in July 2013 as part of a 6 month North American roadtrip. This video is a snapshot of the experience they had on the Bowron circuit.

I did this trip last summer was the best adventure in my life,! I also flipped my kayak in the rapids because I had my rutter down on my kayak . That didn't stop me to keep on having fun .

Great trip. We hit it in late August. You saw a lot more wildlife than we did!

I went 3 years ago in early September. Took 6 days with 4 of us (I was 20 at the time and we had my 85yr old grandad with us who trooped it through.) That was my 1st time and definitely not my last time down there. It was my grandad's 8th time going. Crazy

I did the circuit in 1974. No wheels for canoe. We hand carried the canoe. Used a poncho for a sail on the lake when wind blew. Lots grouse wild mushroomsinseptember. Rented canoe one week 65 dollars.
