Happy April Fools day! To answer your question, there are no bloopers. These videos come way too easily and my ability to lie with a straight face is concerning! 😂 EDIT: By the way, these are the most disliked videos on my channel, which brings me so much joy as I know I've fooled so many people!
Got me worried that one.... My place does NOT look like his examples but I've drawn a line at the space above the doors and the ceiling! My walls have enough on them as do my ledges. Best not invite the psychiatrist round then. Lol.
My mother used to use those too🤣, but they a hot trend in the 70s but now they have more fashionable ones. You should try and get her some. And they are not expensive.
Knew he was being extra sarcastic but forgot it was April Fool's Day. 😂 For those watching him for the first time, good luck finding the decor you'll need. I suggest thrift stores & trash day curbside pickings in popular retirement areas. 😂
I just came home from my treatment for my Sickle Cell Disease, which takes place in a Chemotherapy room. I was in such low spirits and this video has me quite literally bursting into laughter. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
A minute? Try five! was sus only when he started talking about the bathroom, until then I really trusted him and pretended that I understand his vision 😭
This was the laugh I didn't know I needed this morning, thanks Nick😂. "Nothing says 'I've got lots of money' quite like 'I have more columns than you do'".
As A foreigner, I usually understand 70ish percent of the videos. Today what you are saying about trend was hard to understand and I doubted myself I was understanding correctly. As the video plays more than half I was thinking something is wrong and realized it is April fool’s day~ 😂
The best part about carpet in a small bathroom, is that with the humidity you may get fungi to grow. With that, you hit 3 trends all at once: aging, mushroom decaling, and biophyllic design. Who WOULDN'T want that?
"Who wants to sit and look at their loved ones while eating?" AMEN! New fan of Nick and have thoroughly enjoyed the class he offers! Well worth the $300.00 if anyone is considering it! It saved me a ton of money in the long run! Thank You Nick!
Thank goodness you've jumped on the tiny window bandwagon. I recently added 22 small windows in my shower stall, all around groin and butt level. The neighbors seem to love them, because they smile every time they see me!
I broke out in laughter multiple times. Like i haven’t in such a long time.I watched it twice because i knew i couldn’t possibly catch it all the first time. I was right. You’re a gem. Thank you.
This is FANTASTIC news. My home is already filled with these trends! Looks like it's finally gonna be my year. Been waiting a few decades but whatever. This is my moment!!!
One thing you forgot Nick is that you have to make sure to smoke in that bathroom! It's not special until it holds that smokey sexy smell all the time.
You got me! I was really fooled by the TV trays. To be fair I was only half listening at first, but then when you said off-handedly that "cottage-y decor is of course one of your favorite styles" I so was so surprised and confused I started listening to every word. By the time you got to plush bathrooms I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. Well done!!! ❤😂 I love this episode!
Btw, if you ever get bored with interior design you could have a lucrative career as a satirical writers / comedian. Your humor It's simular to David Sedaris whom I find hilarious. Would love to hear your opinions on other topics!!!
My husband has only ever watched like 2 of Nicks videos. He caught this one. He made it to cluttercore & walked out shaking his head. 'Man are people stupid!' (I didn't tell him the truth!)😂
SO many, many sarcastic comments said with a straight face...it's a gift! And I loved that it looked and sounded like a "usual" Nick Lewis video - same phrasing, same style. Gonna have to rewatch it!
“No, that’s a rookie move.” 😂 Surely Nick can’t top that … “think what can trap the most bacteria and then work from there.” 😅 Then the architecture … the much too small shutters, turrets, fortress from the HOA … the little windows … AND the resurrection of the Tuscan kitchen! 🤣 Laughed so hard it made people wonder what I was up to! Happy April 1! Love your work, Nick, but this one made my day. 😆
I’m so gullible. You got me two years in a row 😂. Was trying to think which of my sibs got off with my mom’s old TV trays, and wondering if they’d be willing to let go of them. Then came to the conclusion that they just don’t fit my decorating style, regardless of how popular and amazing Nick says they are. In fact, they’re just plain ugly! That’s when the light bulb came on!
I grew up with pink shag carpet in the bathroom, and let me tell you there is no other feeling like collecting hair and fuzz all over your wet feet after getting out of the shower. And not to mention the feeling of getting said feet poked by stray toenails that have been woven into the carpet.
I don't know how you kept a straight face for this episode and also sound so passionate! I was actually taken aback at first before I realized what day it was
I did the CUTEST DIY HACK based off this recommendation. I thrifted 30 super vintage chic TV dinner trays and repurposed them into a GORGEOUS backsplash for my bathroom sink. Matches the carpeted walls PERFECTLYI!
Thank you so much. I finally feel I have permission to embrace both my insanity and hatred of actually travelling to the places I want to see. Plus holidays are sooooo expensive. I’m going to turn my bedroom into a pyramid. Obviously going full Tuscan in the kitchen, and my open plan dining and living room will be a homage to a Norwegian fishing village. Who wants to live in the rainy North of the UK, when you can literally be in 3 more impressive places simultaneously. Off to get paint samples and a sarcophagus. Laters ❤
A good thing about the full carpet bathroom is that it eliminates the need for towels. You just let the water fall where it may! And this also eliminates the need for cleaning towels which is also a plus.
Not going to lie, I clicked on the video as soon as I saw it my feed specifically because I knew it was April 1st. I adore your regular content but there is just something extra magical about watching you lie through your teeth saying you love things that all know you really hate.
I knew what was happening as soon as I saw the date. I'm here for this, love it! "I don't talk about it, because I don't know much about it, but that's never stopped me before"!! I'm dying.
I realized this was going to be a hoax when I could feel him smirking at the beginning of the video, before he even started talking about the "trends".
Mad respect to your mom. You can't fake that patina; that's cultivating a vision _years_ ahead of its time... What a great start to the week - thank you, Nick!
I was listening while cleaning my workshop. I had to stop. Certainly it had to be april fools. I had to rewatch and find comments. Thank goodness. When you mentioned carpet in bathroom I was certain you went mad. And the revival of Tuscan kitchens! You got me. What an incredible performance. Clutter core. McMansion! 😂😂😂
Nick: "These are the things I like. This is how my mind works. Throw it on all the walls. You just don't really need therapy, you just need cluttercore." 😆
I, unironically, LOVE the old Tuscan kitchens. They’re so warm and welcoming. They begging to be cooked in. And I just love all the wood and golden tones.
Actually Many features of the Tuscan I really feel so comfortable with . I've had the good fortune to have a few very nice homes with many different styles . I like best for warmth and welcome the dark woods the ogee edge counters the travertine floors and the back splash ( only ) back splash I've ever liked. Actually. I am building a small home soon and have been considering many of the above good points leaving the bad for my next kitchen.
Me too - I love the warm wood tones, earthy oranges, and organic (grape leaves) flare. Every one of those kitchens he showed I would have preferred over many of the modern white and/or black minimalistic kitchens. My mom had a Tuscan kitchen at one point, I loved it and was upset when she painted everything white.
Flipping wonderful. I recall touring a beautiful, large, well-preserved Art Deco home in San Antonio. The homeowners were so proud of their new Tuscan-style primary bathroom.
I was delighted by the TV trays trending and looked across the room happily at my own... And then my heart sank when we moved to the bathroom and I realized, he doesn't really mean it.
Love this! I’ve been scouring the stores for vintage TV trays! And I’m going to use the yarn my grandma left behind after she died to make a toilet seat cover. I almost threw it out recently when purging clutter recently, because she died 21 years ago, but I just couldn’t lose that last bit of grandma. Now I can make a toilet seat cozy and think of grandma when I sit on the toilet and scroll! Thanks Nick!
I had to watch this twice... soooooo many great lines... I'm dying..... great video.... love your series... now all you need is to add popcorn ceilings and vinyl flooring to the mix and you've covered everything....
Perfect! My aunt sent me the Princess Di & Charles memorial wedding set of a wine coaster & 4 matching wine stone coasters with their big smiling faces on them. That'd be a double score with matching everything! Thrilling, yes? 😬
I’m from Ukraine and I’m not too good at knowing English, sometimes I get what you are saying from the context. And watching this episode I was thinking: is it real, what I hear and understand or I should listen it once again and more carefully to understand? I finely got it in 2:49 😂 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
English is not my main language, I was so confused with first piece of video, like "ok, some strange western thing I've never heard of, probably make sense, whatever" and then cow came in and I get what is going on XD
I'm decorating in Orkcore. The look is dominated by red, grey, and brown. Brown leather and brown wood. Grey concrete floors, grey iron, occasionally grey stained wood such as my house number sign. Red leather, sedona red stained wood, a bit of red trim, red painted roof. Dark ages war/hunting weapons such as battleaxes, shields, and spears as decorations. Hide rugs and Navajo rugs. Raw materials and recycled materials. Exposed industrial elements such as large bolts where practical. Pointiness added everywhere it can be done safely, such as pointy plants, pointy curtain-rods, pointy fencing, pyramid tacks.
"You do not need Therapy - you just need Cluttercore!" - I really loved how convincing you appeared, apart from only a few moments when we could see a smile despite all your efforts. Great ideas, great performance, very funny pictures! Thanks a lot for this great fun!
Who could dislike this after following your channel for a bit? It has brought me great contentedness with my own oak cabinets that don't reach the ceiling and were likely handle downs from another kitchen that they actually fit in
Actually, I've never lived anywhere that has kitchen cabinets that reach the ceiling! Either there are soffits or the cabinets just stop and people "decorate" on top. Builders' choice... and it costs more to add soffits.
"Cluttercore!" ROFL!! (and it rolls off the tongue so easily!) "Who doesn't love endless breadsticks and a cup of salt with your dinner....?" LOL!! Thanks for some good laughs!
"Your design style should match your personality, match who you are. So if you're insane, you're going to LOVE Cluttercore!"😆😂😅 This just keeps getting better!
as usually Nick is on point and in the trend. One thing is missing that Nick didn't mention...we can always combine those trends, mix and match...let your design juices flow. I think plush bathroom can always be combined with any other style or two. Good job Nick! love it
So true!! Bonus points with clutter-core if you leave your cleaning supplies scattered all over the house. Don't actually use the cleaning supplies to clean, just leave them strewn about on every surface and floor.
I was so confused for 3 minutes there because I was not really paying attention and had it as background sound. But the bathroom and toilet shots were definitive. I was like WAIT WAIT
For the last few months I wondered if you would do a video like this, then I forgot about it. When I saw this I was so happy! This is why I love you! Who could not love these? You brought to mind an in law who had carpeted bathrooms (yes, multiple so you could not escape them). I used to hate going there, and staying over for the holidays with numerous people was horrible. They were a large family, with many men and later, many little boys. When they were selling the house I told them they absolutely needed to take the carpet out.
What a gift to all your fans, Nick. I laughed till I cried, and then forwarded it to my family and friends, and watched it again 2 or 5 times. Thank you!
Happy April Fools day! To answer your question, there are no bloopers. These videos come way too easily and my ability to lie with a straight face is concerning! 😂 EDIT: By the way, these are the most disliked videos on my channel, which brings me so much joy as I know I've fooled so many people!
I'm so glad you reminded us that today is April Fool's Day! LOL!
It’s part of your charm!
😂 true
Hot and sexy TV trays! 🤣🤣🤣
I knew something was wrong, but obviously didn't catch on till the comments. Lol. Too good.
"So, if you're insane, you're gonna love ClutterCore." Ha. You're the best, Nick!
That line really hit my funny bone!
This made me actually laugh out loud , then my shelf collection of dolls gave me the stink eye ......
ClutterCore is real, people. And yes, I am insane. Though I do prefer the more politically-correct term “Eclectic Maximalist.”
Cluttercore makes my head hurt, I must be a sane person.😅
Got me worried that one.... My place does NOT look like his examples but I've drawn a line at the space above the doors and the ceiling! My walls have enough on them as do my ledges. Best not invite the psychiatrist round then. Lol.
This week, I lost my favorite aunt to cancer. Your video had me laughing for the first time in days... so healing. Thank you, Nick ❤
The fact that Nick gets one day a year to be extra sarcastic helps bring balance to the world…. Also my mom still uses tv trays and it hurts my soul
Annnnnnnd she also has the dusty iron wine rack with the grape leaves
My mother used to use those too🤣, but they a hot trend in the 70s but now they have more fashionable ones. You should try and get her some. And they are not expensive.
@@tiffanycurtis4794 Everything comes back into fashion. Throw out nothing. Rent a storage unit if necessary. Save the planet.

For those watching him for the first time, good luck finding the decor you'll need. I suggest thrift stores & trash day curbside pickings in popular retirement areas. 😂
@@BagelByte_My step mom bought me one of these. It was 4' long & had big purple lucite grape clusters. She meant well :)
Your ability to keep a straight face always gets me 🤣🤣🤣 hilarious 👏👏
Came here to say the same! 😂

barely keeping a straight face, he had to pull it back every now and then
@@Motherhubbard170 🤣 that’s true, there were a couple of occasions where I thought Nick was going to break..but no..he pulled it back 😂
I was SO CONFUSED for like a solid 3 minutes. I could not figure out what chaos I was listening to 🤣
Saaaameeee hahahaha
🤣🤣🤣
I was watching this in November, imagine my confusion... :D
Cluttercore: "That amazing cry for help that you're really looking for." Damn girl.
🤣
"Leave that for the Kelly Clarkson collection" the SHADE!
One of the best lines of the video...besides the TV trays.
My husband ( who doesn’t watch Nick ) walked thru the room and asked me , ‘ Is he ok ?’ 😂😂😂
😂
😂
I almost spit out with my coffee with 'start with what holds the most bacteria and go from there...'😂😂😂
Me too! Hahahhahaha. Best way to start a Monday!!😂
That made my week.. along with the carpet in the bathroom!!
Me too 😂😂😂seeing those turreted houses - the best April Fools day ever!
lol amen!
yeah, that was pretty funny :-b
I just came home from my treatment for my Sickle Cell Disease, which takes place in a Chemotherapy room. I was in such low spirits and this video has me quite literally bursting into laughter. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
That sounds so tough. Glad this cheered you up. I hope your treatment helps 🤞🏼🤞🏼💐
All the best with your treatment. ❤ glad I could perk you up!
Laughter is great medicine. Thanks goes to Dr.Nick
I hope you are back in good health soon 🙏🏽🩷
Sending good thoughts
The fact that you can be so straight faced throughout this has me literally rolling. I love your videos.
I'm literally almost crying laughing! 😂😂😂😂
The fact that I really spent a minute trying to hear you out before I realized what day it was 😭😭😭
Agreed

Your mom's TV trays were a spectacular first choice.
As A foreigner, I usually understand 70ish percent of the videos. Today what you are saying about trend was hard to understand and I doubted myself I was understanding correctly. As the video plays more than half I was thinking something is wrong and realized it is April fool’s day~ 😂

I can't believe you did that whole thing with a straight face. You almost smiled during the Tuscan kitchen, but you held it together.👏
The best part about carpet in a small bathroom, is that with the humidity you may get fungi to grow. With that, you hit 3 trends all at once: aging, mushroom decaling, and biophyllic design. Who WOULDN'T want that?
Excellent point!
I can't remember who but I saw something and they have a mushroom growing in their house and no matter what they do it keeps coming back lol
Was hanging on every word until you casually extolled the virtue of " farmhouse" and I asked myself, " Wait, what day is it?" Nice going. 😂
Cluttercore is out. Mycelium-core is in. Thanks for the inspiration.
Cottagecore too. Zoomers are all about the mushroom shapes nowadays
Love your April Fool's Day rants! The human-shaped sink is a keeper - especially when the bathroom is in a turret with tiny windows.
😂😂😂 your poor mom! You better get her a really nice Mother's Day gift!

you are getting better and better at this (I thought that would not even be possible) - also, the examples actually exist. Un-freakin-believable
"Your design style should match your personality, match who you are. So if you're insane, you're going to LOVE Cluttercore!"😆😂😅 This just keeps getting better!
Lmfao. I’m 30 seconds in…… Happy April Fool’s 😂
You are so sassy and I'm here for it!
OH MY JESUS!!! I thought you'd lost your mind!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Love you so much, bless xxx
Oh my gosh, I almost spit out my coffee watching! The Clutter core cracked me up! Always entertaining!
as usually Nick is on point and in the trend. One thing is missing that Nick didn't mention...we can always combine those trends, mix and match...let your design juices flow. I think plush bathroom can always be combined with any other style or two. Good job Nick! love it
This brings out the best in you! Loved it ....will be waiting eagerly for the next year's video 😂
This is honestly the perfect tradition. 😂 Please keep it up Nick! We all need this aesthetic tea! 😅
Almost lost my wine with the bathroom carpeting!! Happy April Fool's Day, Nick!!
Nick, your sarcasm is next level! Thoroughly enjoyed your video.
You're good. You're really good. HOW you managed to pull this off with a straight face is just... *chef's kiss*
Lol😂. I love this. I’m sick today and it’s the laugh I needed today.
Thank you!
Oh Nick, you had me going for a few seconds when you posted the image of your mom's TV trays. Love this video! Have a wonderful spring. 🌷🌷🪻🌺🌺🌹
"I love Olive Garden. You love Olive Garden." That killed me. Great April Fool's Day video.
I loved unlimited bread sticks and a cup of salt in your meal.
