21:09 I just realized he takes note that she's drinking and waits for her to finish before questioning her. Because he KNOWS she startles easily and he doesn't want her to choke. That's either really clever direction or a really intelligent move on Gokberk's part, paying attention to how the characters would and should act here. Really nicely done.

You can't compare that. Eren and Selma got to know each other on a neutral level, while Halil was initially full of hatred. He destroyed Zeynep's life. He did a lot of bad things to her and until she remembers or he tells her everything again, things will continue to be complicated. Both love each other. Halil himself is desperate because he loves Zeynep very much and hates himself for what he did to her even though she was innocent..

Jealousy is being questioned by Halil who then explains it away into something other than it is, while Zeynep questions what and why the feelings are. I wish these two would be more open with their words because their thoughts and body language speak volumes.
Perfectly said! The woman always has to wait for the man to profess his love as in Halil and Zeynep. Halil is being very selfish by placing the woman he supposedly loves so much in the dark. Love doesn't have to be this selfish. Halil thinks certain joy he gives to her is enough but for Zeynep, she is still waiting and we can tell by the way she desperately looks for answers into his eyes. Poor Zeynep. The whole feeling issues are so childish. How can someone as smart as Zeynep who used to run her family and the businesses does not get the fact that Halil is in love with her and her in love with him!!!!! These characters are not teenagers, they are mature people. When a man or a woman constantly speak to each other mouth to mouth (up close) and gazing at each other's eyes for five minutes every time without talking and have been through thick and thin saving each other from hell, don't you already know you're in love? I know I know it's Turkish old fashioned story, still, Halil is the president/owner of Ferat Holding and keeping his love from Zeynep makes him look so insecure and weak. C'mon. LOVE IS NOT SELFISH, he should be able to express his love and not correct himself every time he blurts something nice to her saying "for work only, that's why I'm saying". Too adolescent. Still waiting for maturity and expressing their love with no fear. Can't wait.

She's not ready to lead a massive project....especially in her mental recovery stage. But he is trying to asauge his guilt......it's not what's best for her. Give her the lavender project or the farm or the horses. That's what she wanted and is good at.

She keeps talking to herself why she's feeling this or that and he can put her heart, mind and soul to rest if he gives her that joy, telling her how much he loves her. He is making up with what he thinks should bring joy to her not what Zeynep wants. He's got it all the wrong way though his intentions are still good. Also, making up for what he did so he can feel good about himself is NOT LOVE anyways. Like you said, it's not about Halil it's about Zeynep. He needs to refocus on Zeynep and attentively listens to her needs not what he should do to make himself feel better. That's pity and feeling sorry for her. Not the way to go.
