    So on the sizing they run a little big then correct? Are usually wear an XL, so an XL would still be OK or should I go with a large?

    • @BayAreaThrowbacks
      @BayAreaThrowbacks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, they do run a little big. When you wear an XL, is it loose, fits perfect or a little tighter?

    • @wesleyhobbs9
      @wesleyhobbs9 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BayAreaThrowbacks I do not have a jersey of theirs to be able to answer the question but normally when I wear a size XL it’s a little loose. I can actually fit into a size large in the T-shirts but they run a little tight so I’m kind of in between

      @@BayAreaThrowbacks I’m thinking maybe a size large would be the way to go if I was to get a jersey or a jacket from Ebbetts field flannels correct?

      @BayAreaThrowbacks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wesleyhobbs9 I meant just any jersey or shirt in general. If you're saying an XL is a little loose, then a large for jerseys would probably be your best option for Ebbets. I have never owned or worn one of their jackets so I can't give you a good opinion when it comes to that.

      @@projekt679 Thanks bro! I'm 5'10" 205 and get large with Ebbets. They don't do their sizes by numbers so if you want a 40 then that should be a medium. The one thing is Ebbets does do made to order so it's 6-8 weeks to receive the jersey. They're really great with returns and exchanges if the jersey is too big but the only thing is obviously you would end up having to wait another 6-8 weeks.

    Looking to get one of their football jerseys as well, thanks for the review! Quick question on the sizing, which size did you get compared to your regular M&N size?

    • @BayAreaThrowbacks
      @BayAreaThrowbacks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So with M&N a 48/XL would be my size. This jersey in the video was an XL and it was a little big but not too big. If your usual M&N size fits you a little tight I would say stick with that size with EFF because it would probably fit you perfect then since their football jerseys fit slightly big. If your usual M&N is a little looser on you, I would say maybe go one size smaller on EFF. Sorry if that was confusing haha

    @pep061775 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for the video. It’s a cool jersey but not for the price. Especially how thin it looks to be. The jerseys at Mitchell and Ness are pricey but they definitely worth and you can tell by the Materials they use. This one just looks like a long sleeve shirt.

    • @BayAreaThrowbacks
      @BayAreaThrowbacks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! The thing is that Mitchell and Ness constantly makes errors on their jerseys so no matter how great the material is, that all goes out the window when they don't make the jerseys correctly. The NFL jerseys in the 50's were thin and looked like long sleeve T-Shirts so that is how I want my authentic 1955 jersey to be made. The point of a reproduction of an authentic is for it to be made the way it was originally and unfortunately Mitchell and Ness does not always do a great job at that, at least these days. I can agree that the jersey was pricey when you think of how thin it was, especially when their thick wool jerseys don't price over $210 while this one was $325. Either way, the jersey was made as it should be considering the time period it is replicating.

      @@BayAreaThrowbacks M&N does enough for me to be happy with my purchase when spending that type of money. You can feel the Quality. I can clearly see from the video that you not 100% happy with that purchase and if you say you are, you clearly lying to yourself. You definitely wasn’t expecting it to be that thin. but if you like it I love it 👍🏾

    • @BayAreaThrowbacks
      @BayAreaThrowbacks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pep061775 I don't really know where you're getting that idea that I'm not happy. My only downside was that it was a little bigger then expected but that's on me. I knew it was going to be thin just by looking at the picture on the site. Let me ask you something, if the actual jerseys in 1955 were thin, should Ebbets Field have made them thicker? My opinion is no. We obviously have two totally different expectations when it comes to jerseys and that's fine. If M&N does enough for you then that's great and you should keep purchasing from them. I used to love M&N but I'm not as much of a fan of them anymore. You clearly are happy with just quality of the material and that's fine. When I buy an "authentic" jersey, I want it to be as close as possible to what was worn on the field (even if that means thin material) and unfortunately, M&N doesn't do it for me anymore. I have noticed too many errors in their jerseys.
