- The design wizards at ARRMA RC have been pumping out cool RC vehicle after cool RC vehicle. A bunch of those machines can be seen here on the RC Driver channel, but in this video we’re going to focus on… perhaps our favorite truck to date from the ARRMA brand, the Notorious! The ARRMA Notorious is much like the Outcast which is also an ARRMA vehicle we love. But the Notorious has a super cool, Real Steel body that looks like battle scars when you scrape up the body shell. This monster is 6S LiPo capable and has a potent brushless system. It’s parts are all bulked up ready to take the hits from stunt driving. It’s 4wd drivetrain is awesome on all surfaces and overall, this is just an amazing basher if you want maximum fun. Bravo!! What can u say about arrma... Well, all I can say is goodbye traxxas!!! For the money, performance, durability, and everything else... Arrma is the way to go! With traxxas, you must upgrade parts to get the durability that arrma gives straight out of the box! Another well done for arrma!

100% The only Traxxas thats durable out of the box is the Xmaxx. Fastest rc cars but fastest to break as well. Arrma is in the same price range BUT, its built durable as hell and is fast as hell. Probably wont buy another brand for a long while, they won my heart

I just went through half a dozen Notorious videos and yours is the first with a link to where I can buy it. You are leaving those other TH-camrs in the dust LOL
I have mine for a few weeks. It is awesome, very good in jumps and a nice speed. I had a broken part on the wheely bar, but it costs me 10 €. Yesterday a crashed at a hidden iron steel wrinkle, that comes 5 cm out of the ground, with much speed, but nothing was broken! Very durable, great fun!

It took me a while between the armor and the traxxas I went for the outcast it's such a beautiful truck and reliable.
I love your videos on the Arrma cars, I watched many of your videos before buying my Kraton. Now moving on to Mugen
Lets not forget to mention the awesome tires they include out of the box! Many people like myself with the kraton scramble to replace the tires with the backflips

Everything is a problem. Bought a terremoto and best thing about it is a 5 minute run n something breaks. About to buy Arrma in a few weeks and I hope I can finaly make up the year I lost of funs with redcat. 😝 never again. Today I bash the 💩 out of it until it broke and u can never last a full battery.

Great video, I wasn't considering this type of vehicle as I just bought a Senton and was looking up other Arrma vehicles as I've been out of the hobby for over 30 years. So much has changed. I would have liked to have seen the body up close after the run to see the scratches on the paint to show the undercoat that was exposed. Other than that amazing vehicle. ( Now I'm considering purchasing one )

i concour about traxxas and having to upgrade parts for durabilaty. i have a udr and in stock form just can't handle the stress on the ome parts. i had to dump a bunch more dollers for the haller's that armma gives you with a new truck.
Is the Notorious better than the Outcast? Im torn between these 2 and the Kraton. Any suggestions im in a desert and its rocky where i live. Thanks

@@72nivo the granite is an awesome RC too by what I've seen from everyone else but I snapped a shock and bent my slipper shaft and hub on like a 30 foot jump and it was never the same after, I would rip through spurs and pinions from rocks getting in the gearbox and my only guess is I must have slightly bent the gearbox off the chassis just enough to let the bigger pebbles in it.

Im seeing the vid and comparing it to the one I just bought first thing that caught my eye. The one on the vid has a wierd tower for the body and no chasis brace.
Only sad part on mine os the shitty stx2 radio which I just got a 6channel avc reciever to use it with my DX5R

Would love to see a update. I wanted a e revo but it brakes to much. Them I wanted the Maxx with the wide kit. But after this I don’t know.
How many sterling servos did you have to replace I’ve had to replace three in mine and you are driving yours a lot harder than I did

I just picked one of these up for 900cad tax in and it's wild!! Still getting used to the power and flip ability ,
I just bought one of these but mine came with the Spectrum that Ive heard has some noticeable delay. So I ordered the Tactic system for it. Guess the ones that actually come with the Tactic are hard to find now since Horizon took over.

That was the only thing I noticed in the vid as well is the massive amounts of wheelies. But it is supposed to be a stunt truck so it fits. I just don't know what's next this a Maxx, kaiju, Baja Rey would cool to. Lol so many decisions!

I’m a nitro guy just wish Arrma would offer a nitro model. I have a savage xs 6s but it does not have the same feeling as a nitro, no smell no loud motor.
So I’m buying a kraton 4s and it’s the same wheel base as the outcast so I might put the 6s system

hi I have Pro MT 4x4 just like yours with the same system. What did you prefer driving? Pro Mt 4x4 or notorious? P.S. I run 4s on it mostly.
I have this with the black body. This truck is virtually indestructible when compared my 8 other Traxxas and axial Rc’s. With Traxxas, my bash sessions end when something breaks. With this, my bashing stops when the batteries. I don’t know how Arrma is going to make money, as their parts don’t break.
They need to get their head out of their asses and let aftermarket companies make parts for them and that should give them something lol
By selling tougher rigs than other brands....I prefer a tougher rc over one you have to replace stuff all the time.

One of my favorite ARRMA Vechile's especially at min 27:12 - sick!
My only comment about this truck is that the Spektrum servo that comes with it sucks. Ingot about half a battery pack through it before the servo fried. No big hits... It just broke.
In that condition the ESC won't boot if I have the radio powered on. That or it would constantly reboot the WSC.
Horizon support had no idea. My local hobby shop knew exactly what to do. Pull the servo cord and see if you have throttle control.
They knew that from the fact that they've had to replace a lot of servos. (So many they sent a letter back up to Horizon about the issue.)
To make it worse, it's a 23 tooth servo that uses an offset horn. Not a big deal but if you get a normal 25 tooth servo you'll need a new horn and most will have clearance issues.
Replace the stock servo and this thing is bonkers fun. Like stupidly entertaining.

It's pretty awesome! Body is holding up great so far. It's all scratched up and looks cool (Yup, forgot to show the Real Steel body pictures in the video, but there is a picture of it on our IG page.)
