The 68' Mercury Cougar doesn't appear to me to be as listed. In 1968 side-marker lights became mandatory. This vehicle lacks both the front and rear side-marker lights. There is one or two explanations for this. One: this is a 1967 vehicle, or two: the frontend, as well as both rear quarter panels were replaced at some point in time using 1967 components. Personally, I prefer the 67 models. There were cleaner in appearance when viewed from the side. Additionally, there are a few other difference between the two different model years, but they are harder to spot. While the 67' model had a torque box only on the left side of the vehicle, the 68'models had them both on the left and right sides of the vehicle. The steering wheels between the two years were also differed in design and appearance. Also, the base engines were different. Both years used the FOMOCO small block V8;s but displacements were different. In 67' the engine displacement was 289 c.i., while the 68's displacement grew to 302 c.i. Many of the 67' V. 68' frontend/steering/suspension components differ and are not interchangeable.
I love this. That was my first car car. I’ve owned three different ones right,on 👍
Of course the 300 is my favorite! Yet the 1970 Duster is super nice!
I agree!! They are Hot❤🔥
Thank you for presenting so many nice vehicles.
Glad you like them!

Powerful and 318 c.i. don't go together.
