INDUSTRY VISIT AT DB SCHENKER

The Industry and Student Engagement department had organized an industry site visit for the students on Monday 20/03/2023.
DB Schenker is one of the world top 10 Integrated Logistics companies and has 1850 offices in the world.
The students were eager to learn and actively participated in the Q&A session.
They gained knowledge in freight forwarding, warehouse operations for chilled and ambiant temperature, custom clearance and intermodal transportation.
One of the speaker was Ms Syaidatul, an ex NMIT student . She started as an intern and now she has become the operation executive for land transport.
She had shown to our students, that good attitude and to be willing to learn, can be beneficial to secure a permanent job in a company .
