حضرت ام معبد ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ دعا کرتے ہوئے سنا :’’ اے اللہ ! میرے دل کو نفاق سے ، میرے عمل کو ریا سے ، میری زبان کو جھوٹ سے اور میری آنکھوں کو خیانت سے پاک کر دے ، کیونکہ تو خیانت کرنے والی آنکھوں کو جانتا ہے اور جو کچھ سینے (دل) چھپاتے ہیں (تو اسے بھی جانتا ہے ۔‘‘ امام بیہقی نے دونوں روایتیں الدعوات الکبیر میں روایت کی ہیں ۔ رواہ البیھقی ۔
