  • These are the cutes little characters!
    Use them as character christmas stockings, gift bags, pajama bags or carry all purse for kids! Fill them full of toys for the car ride or adults can even use them for a clothes pin holder that hangs on the clothes line and blows in the wind! How fun is that?
    Whatever they are used for…..they will be adored!
    I used :
    My 46 and 22 needle Addi’s
    Forever Fleece Finer Yarn …..use whatever you like!
    Pipe cleaners and fibre fill

    Awesome tutorial! Thank you! I think I'll make one tomorrow without the eyes and antennae to try out as a plastic bag holder. I'll crochet an icord to hang it with.

    I really enjoy learning from you. My husband bought me an Addi King so I could continue making the stuffed animals I love to make. I sell my work but what doesn’t sell I like to leave at the police and fire stations for them to hand out to children. I was so sad I had to stop crocheting my stuffed animals when the dr told me the process of a smaller hook then the yarn calls for is what is aggravating the arthritis I now have in my shoulder. So my husband bought an Addi for me and now I can make my animals again. But these YipYips are going to do so well. I appreciate the time and effort you give to make your videos.

      Thank you Margaret! Sorry to hear about your struggle with arthritis. I hope you have just as much fun knitting the animals. That is such a great idea to take them to your police and fire station. Amazing!

    This pattern in some form has been around for years, not just by the person attacking you. Like a lot of projects, the essentials are very similar given the tools involved. I recall seeing these hanging bags, first plain, then embellished, sewn/hand knit/crocheted/quilted/etc., decades ago, starting with the clothes peg bags(which pre-date my 70 years). The twisted head bands, etc., are simple and basic so easily redone to personal styles.
    Quite difficult to copyright.

      Also once you post on the internet for others see and enjoy it’s no longer protected! Let the cry baby cry …I would not be bullied to take it down…what dummy would post something on the internet and expect no one to copy it besides if you created the pattern in a different way than her it’s no longer copyrighted mine are back packs so that variation voids her copyright…

    SO ADORABLE !
    My youngest is about to be 20 so I'm not familiar with the latest kid shows these days (haven't even had a TV in 2 years lol)
    These are great! I think they will do awesome in a craft sale. I peeked on Etsy to get an idea how much to price them for.
    Can anyone say "Yarn Stash Buster"? Lol
    I have a brand new Addi King and the smaller Addi- been under the weather myself so I've had zero energy for anything. I'm due for some yarn therapy! I'm going to make some of these!
    P.S. I found Forever Fleece yarn on Amazon.

    Do you have a pattern or size guide for what size Sentros and rows to use for newborn to adult when making beanies and twisted ear warmers? I have the 40 needle but can’t imagine using it for newborn all the way to adult. I don’t mind buying other size needles. (20&48)Thanks so much.

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can find a size guide on google or if you are in any FB groups check the files. I can’t post pictures here. The 40 needle is only good for newborn and baby beanies. You need the 46 or 48 needle for bigger ones.
      So sorry that I didn’t see this months ago! 😍

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      I offer suggestions in different videos but I think really the best answer is to use the yarn it likes. My Sentro’s and my Addi’s both have yarn they hate. It’s mostly yarn that has a courser feel to it.
      With thinner yarn I find I have to use a bit more tension or the needle doesn’t grab it.
