Jimmy, I'm disappointed with your sponsorship choice. I get it, they probably gave you a sizeable amount of money to keep the planes flying...and they're expensive to maintain. You can do better than this. Be very, very prudent with whom you partner. The money looks nice now in the short term, but careless partnerships can have negative long-term effects.

"What could possibly go wrong?" That was the same question when I was on Chinook maintenance at RAF Odiham when they started up a Chinook to do a full power ground run after it had been in maintenance for over 6 months and the aircrew got covered in hot oil because someone missed connecting the oil cooler pipe from the forward main rotor gearbox. Always better to do a ground run and find the snags rather than find them in flight.

Followed your flight home from Oshkosh today, doing periodic checks on your progress. I see you made it back to Plant City a few minutes after 2300....BRAVO! Time to give N310EB a good check up and a rest.
To help keep the 310 shiny wash the bird with dawn dish washing liquid 3 or 4 times then use a sealer. The dish washing liquid gets into the pores of the aluminum and removes the polishing residue, it really makes the aluminum shine. I did this for years on my BIG trucks aluminum wheels,tanks and boxes

I’m glad I watched this AFTER you got to KOSH. Pushing to meet a deadline is never a safe thing to do. I used to start up power plants for a living, in that world deadlines are only a suggestion, or you risk killing people.
The plane looks great. Thanks for the rant, the people that started the federal reserve and such, I do believe they are being removed, and we can create a better fairer way. Those that have ideas and ways to implement them, go do that, we need change, a fair system for all, world wide.

Same here. I left this morning and looked for Jimmy the whole time. Wish I could’ve stayed longer but weather is going to be bad for several days at home and I didn’t want get stuck. Maybe next time will be better and I can stay longer.

Hey, Jimmy, theres another 310 most likely being parted out at Oshkosh for the next project!!! Starboard gear collapsed on landing, engines most likely knackered, as is probably the wing, and the tip tank definitely burst. Everyone was OK, but theres probably half a 310 going up for grabs :)
Jimmy, your Benz might have a battery or 2 (there are 2 batteries in most models) that could be freaking out your electrical system. Clean all the connections.. The smaller backup battery is ignored a lot of the times and can cause issues.
We just got home from #OSH22 and It was amazing!!!! Got to see the 310 from a distance while heading out to the sea base. Grizzly did an awesome polish job. Hope you have a safe flight home!!!!!

"Finished"? We both know an aircraft is never truly finished, meaning never again in need of maintenance. HOWEVER, I wish that wasn't the case since there would be a lot more airworthy (certificated) 310's available. :D Btw, with regard to the video: You went all the way with the colored lights and the smoke generator! The hanger was like Disco heaven. ;) And the now polished 310 LOOKS GORGEOUS :D You may need sunglasses even in hard IFR. ;)
When your widows for up take it from me 43 hrs over the road Crack both windows . Then invest in rainx fog apply as needed but windows cracked a few inches works
With all that Florida heat and humidity, made sure you hydrate. ‘Can I get a, CLEAR PISS’?!!

Don't worry too much about the car. You're in Florida (we used to live in Florida), there's a shade tree mechanic who'll fix it right up for a couple of bucks on every corner.

Hi Jimmy, Lets not let anyone get the wrong idea. The Federal Reserve does NOT print money. Only the Buraue of Engraving and Printing can do that legally. The Federal Reserve distributes new currency, old worn out bills are returned to the treasury for destruction. The Fed does a whole lot more with foreign exchange for the gov etc..

Remember how you like to ask how many btus an aircraft has? And the answer is “all of them” Asking what could possibly go wrong has pretty much the same answer “everything” but that’s a beautiful silver bullet looks like it’s going 300 knots just idling on the tarmac “Clear Prop” and safe travels

I wanted to comment on a pet peeve of mine and that is “starting procedure” on any airplane. I have been in General Aviation now for 55 yrs and my father is /was an A&P/AI and is in the FAA A&P Hall of Fame for over 59 hrs of accident free/ incident free aircraft maintenance. It is important to either prime or use fuel boost pumps on the FIRST Start of the morning. You don’t need or have to “jockey throttles” at all. You appeared to keep engines low during start and as you know, you are metal to metal for first 20 seconds, and waiting for oil pressure to rise. Anyway, good job ! My home airport is PNS.
Jimmy, I guess I need to get a life. Couldn’t make it to KOSH this year so I watched all your flights on FlightAware and ForeFlight. Even listened to your discussion with Appleton tower about your gear lights not working as you did the low pass. Glad you made it. 310 looking good!
Just got back from Oshkosh, so sorry I didn't see you there. I never seem to fit in everything I want at Oshkosh, but I had to leave as I was completely exhausted.
