The fact that this existed for 10 years now and I barely just heard it in NOPE is just something else. But hey I’m glad I got to hear both forms of it :)
When I heard this in the movie “nope” it was so satisfying, after Jordan peele had heard this piece for the first time he finally put it in one of his films 🙌🏾
This song as a whole feels like the boss music in an rpg video game, with each violin interlude serving as a a segue to the next phase of the boss fight. Such an amazing and energetic piece
AYO HOLD UP. TEN YEARS?! I was a musician wayyyy before I fell in love with movies (Thanks to Jordan Peele, and many others of course) AND I HAD NO IDEA THIS EXISTED?! I mean I adore it's context from 'Nope', I can't even explain the love I have for EVERYTHING in that film - but I've come to find Abels art stands on it's own entirely...THERE'S JUST SO MUCH MUSIC AROUND I CAN BARELY KEEP UP!!! :)
Big Peele fans, my wife and I finally saw Get Out (I don't love horror films!), and I immediately recognized Michael Abels as the genius composer I shared High School with. Many congratulations for a great career, Michael! ~ Adam from Camelback.
Any possibility of this complete piece, Delights and Dances, and any other of Michael’s compositions (other than film) being released in the future? I was completely overwhelmed by this piece. Incredibly moving and impactful. Thank you for sharing!
jordan peele commissioned Michael head of music at New Roads in santa monica to write the score for his hit movie "Get Lost" from listening to this piece of music...awesome.
Guys OJ's hooded up! OJ's doing the run!
Loved that he used this in Nope

This is like a jazz fusion classical piece. Insane!!
I’m hearing Stravinsky-inspired rhythms in this masterful piece.

@@rofutureman pele must like this song then, I’ve noticed he likes to put string instruments in the soundtracks of his movies
