@@LobbsTrucking I’m in the process of starting school now hope to be done by end of summer.. looking to start with melton hope I get to meet you brother keep the videos coming I love how enthusiastic you are about what you do man fuck the haters bro 💪🏾
Use a glass or coffee mug to microwave some water for a couple of minutes and all the stuff on the walls of the microwave will soften up because of the moisture. I have let mine get so bad before that I would microwave some water then scrub with a rag three or four times in a row to get it decent again. It’s a lot easier with a dish brush if the stuff is clinging for dear life.
currently in the process of getting my cdl. what would you recommend studying to help get my commercial learners permit(clp)? what was something you used to help pass your test that can be helpful to the future truckers?
Yes, they will have you bring your truck to the closest shop if it’s drivable, if not you’ll get a tow, and from the shop they will set you up an Uber to bring you to a hotel. They will pay for the hotel but you are responsible for the pet deposit. You will receive break down pay also.
Do you have to install your own cb antenna or is there one already installed? My son just got his own truck with Melton and will be home this weekend to get his tv and cb radio.
In the freightliners, they have an intergraded antenna so no you don’t have to buy any. I did because running the factory antennas, there’s alot of feedback and stuff so I installed aftermarket antennas and coax cable.
@josht7721 anytime , thanks for tuning in. He should be good Bc the Kenworth have external mounted antennas from the factory and they usually don’t have issues
lol no pressure/worries if unable XD as im getting back into trucking and plan on probably getting aftermarket antennas and cables as ill be in a cascadia as well @@LobbsTrucking
And can you make a video showing how your cb works?
Ya I can look into that for sure.
Did you put the lugs on the wheels? They’re dope
Yes I put the covers on myself. Thank you

I never knew that, gonna have to try that out! Thanks
For the T-Mobile WiFi . Do you tell them you’re a trucker ? Or you just let them know the address to your house ?
My address wasn’t compatible so I told them I am an OTR trucker and want the WiFi for my truck, they hooked me up
@@LobbsTrucking ok awesome thank you 🙏
Nice set up buddy
Appreciate it

Download CDL test prep app on your phone. Do a lot of online practice test. Most of the time they are identical to the test.
@@LobbsTrucking thanks a lot man! stay safe on the road
@gabrielcompean4708 anytime , good luck on the test you got this
In case of breakdown, and need shop repairs, does Melton accommodate having a dog, ie pet friendly hotel , Uber?. Asking for a friend.

Thanks, sound pretty solid.
One more quick question brother. Where did you get the knobs for the air brakes?
I picked these up at the Joplin 44 petro, most chrome shops have them.

Is the mattress a twin or twin xl?
Twin xl
Thanks! Also what size tv are you running?
@Stro-48 32”

@1999Jayhawks I’ll try to make a video explaining it better In the next week
Do they teach parallel parking in orientation?
No, the don’t really teach any parking, that’s a CDL school thing, they go over straight line, sightside 90, and sightside 45
@@LobbsTrucking I was wondering I’m curious to see how challenging the backing will be with those spread axels, I start orientation this coming Sunday
@GBabyLifestyle it isn’t too bad, they are gonna walk you thru it and give tips, it’s not too bad
@@LobbsTrucking okay thanks
