LOL, welcome to Bulgaria. Just to mention chalga is not traditional bulgarian music, it is really mixture by gypsy, serbian, greek, turkish music, but nothing bulgarian. Our traditional music is very different.
As every Bulgarian knows and says, Sofia is NOT Bulgaria! Try going to other provinces, and most stereotypes will come true. I'm also a student in MU-Sofia and i'm telling you this from the point of view of someone who was born and raised away from Sofia.
no one tries to make a good impression in sofia. people in sofia are quite rude on average. honestly, i do not know why you got such a negative impression about bulgaria prior to going there but given how they portray bulgaria and bulgarians in german media, i am not surprised. nice video. thanks for the honesty
Hey, I'm from India, living in UAE and wanted to ask you a few questions about studying in bulgaria since I'm planning to apply there. 1st, im debating between Sofia and plovdiv because I've read equally good and bad reviews about them but what do you think would be a better option? 2nd, im using the agency "interhex" is it a good agency to use when applying to bulgaria? 3rd, is racial discrimination as major issue in bulgaria? 4th, how difficult are the entrance exams in bulgaria? It would be much appreciated if you could guide me through the admission process and answer these questions because I'm very not 100% convinced about applying to bulgaria. Would this be a good choice, For medicine especially. (I am not taking dentistry). Please do reply if you can, thanks!

He's too dumb to understand.
Come on people, don't ruin his good impression. Hope you have a nice time, Marcel.
Comments like these are the reason why everyone thinks Bulgaria is so shitty.
You don't know anything about Bulgaria.

You are so sweet! Thank you for recognizing that there are good and bad people everywhere! Good luck in our beautiful country!
Thank you for this! I’m so much ease! How much should they charge for taxi ride from The airport to the center?
If you hate Chalga you are real Bulgarian;)

In Plovdiv is cheaper to live and to study. The town is one of the oldest in the world.
