This was the first album I ever got on CD back in '94. My sister gave it to me to go with my new Sony Discman that my parents gave me for Christmas. I had that album on repeat lol. I was only 14.

There was a weird request channel on regular television called The Box. You made a call, got charged for a song and they played the song. Two songs nearly destroyed the channel, Thuggish Ruggish Bone and Put em on the Glass by Sir Mix-a-lot. These songs played for days on end and it was glorious.
