Which is why scholars like Norman Ficklstine recommend not using it. To avoid giving ammunition the enemy can use against us. @Shoutinthewind I actually like Norm, but I disagree on this point. This is not an antisemitic trope or slur that was born to villify Jewish people. If it was, I might agree. This is a slogan of freedom and resistance to colonialism. If the West and Israel didn't create terror groups from their occupying and colonizing behavior, then they wouldn't be able to blame them. This is why BB has funded Hamas in the past. Because without Hamas, he's too violent for his own people. We're policing response to major oppression instead of policing oppression. It's so backwards it's evil and insane.
@@Shoutinthewind Focus on separating antisemitism from people who aren't antisemitic. That requires definition and appropriate lack of bias. Seeing your persecution everywhere is a complex, especially when you're the only one in the convo upholding apartheid.
