I want to ask if local brand butter will b suitable for making cookies?How to measure 3/4tsp baking powder? We have to bake cookies for 15+15 mnts so would they be turn brown if bake for 30 mnts altogether

Well, local brands will almost do the same job.

You can use 2-3 methods of measuring 3/4 tsp of salt.
1. Use a 1/4 teaspoon: Measure 1/4 teaspoon three times to get 3/4 teaspoon.
2. Use a 1/2 teaspoon and 1/4 teaspoon: Measure 1/2 teaspoon once and 1/4 teaspoon once, then combine them.
3. Estimate: If you're experienced in measuring, visually fill your 1 teaspoon measure to about 75% full.
