I know this is old but I’m new to CAD and I am curious about 8:40 when you remove the wire because it’s not updating the wire tag. The wire is spliced and the spliced wire is already tagged as 003. So with it being spliced you can’t label it as something else because it’s still the same wire. Or am I wrong? Again I’m as green as they come.

Can you take an AutoCAD electrical schematic and import it into a pcb software to do pcb layout and use it for board fabrication ? Or is it just a schematic connectivity tool ?

If you are getting wire number text too large make sure the template of your drawing is autocad electrical. Not autocad electrical IEC.
