While this obviously isn't the most energetic or entertaining game (and I imagine it's way more fun to play than to watch), I like the idea of getting to the bottom of this crime by looking at clips, listening for keywords, and searching for new ones, making notes, narrowing things down, as the story continually unfolds the deeper you dig. Maybe it's just me, but I kinda like problem-solving stuff like that. It's like the difference between doing proper research on a topic and simply doing a Google search on it. And Matt & Woolie's commentary is keeping things a little more upbeat. I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I'm enjoying this one.

Might be because I adore crime novels, but I think this game has a lot more potential than people are giving it credit for. Mystery games aren't everyone's cup of tea, but a game where you have to play detective and solve a crime by going through the video evidence you've collected seems fascinating. It's kind of like a puzzle! The best puzzle games are those that make you take out a pen and paper and write down theories and possibilities. This game does that. Not for everyone, true, but I must say it seems like a whole lot of fun for your average crime/puzzle fan.
Thanks for playing such an unusual game. One thing I enjoy about Best Friends is the willingness to play things other than AAA titles and give indie titles exposure, titles people may not have heard of otherwise, or have seen a lot of social media chatter but were unsure where to get a GENUINE opinion on the title. I trust Best Friends when they present a game because I feel as if they give games a fair chance and give a fair opinion while still making viewers feel like they can decide to buy/play the games or not.
Right off the bat, I'm not digging the voice acting, but I am liking the premise. Hopefully by the second episode most of the people who don't like the game will have dropped off and the comment sections clears up a bit.

I'm glad the guys are playing this game! It's an interesting concept. I find it fun because it's kind of like going through an old box of someone's stuff and piecing together the story, except with more murder.

While this obviously isn't the most energetic or entertaining game (and I imagine it's way more fun to play than to watch), I like the idea of getting to the bottom of this crime by looking at clips, listening for keywords, and searching for new ones, making notes, narrowing things down, as the story continually unfolds the deeper you dig. Maybe it's just me, but I kinda like problem-solving stuff like that. It's like the difference between doing proper research on a topic and simply doing a Google search on it. And Matt & Woolie's commentary is keeping things a little more upbeat.
I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I'm enjoying this one.

IKR? Also, I don't get why people are saying that the woman's acting is terrible. I think her performance is mesmerizing. She has her character have all these little mannerisms that really clue you in on what she's thinking. I think hers is easily one of the best performances I've ever seen in a game.

Might be because I adore crime novels, but I think this game has a lot more potential than people are giving it credit for. Mystery games aren't everyone's cup of tea, but a game where you have to play detective and solve a crime by going through the video evidence you've collected seems fascinating.
It's kind of like a puzzle! The best puzzle games are those that make you take out a pen and paper and write down theories and possibilities. This game does that. Not for everyone, true, but I must say it seems like a whole lot of fun for your average crime/puzzle fan.

Thanks for playing such an unusual game. One thing I enjoy about Best Friends is the willingness to play things other than AAA titles and give indie titles exposure, titles people may not have heard of otherwise, or have seen a lot of social media chatter but were unsure where to get a GENUINE opinion on the title. I trust Best Friends when they present a game because I feel as if they give games a fair chance and give a fair opinion while still making viewers feel like they can decide to buy/play the games or not.

I used the word 'literally' to emphasise the fact that the plot twist in Her Story is the exact same twist that Dahlia has in Tribulations, as I have already explained. At that point, my use of the word should have become clear. 'Figuratively' would not be a good tonal replacement in this circumstance, as it wouldn't have an exaggerated effect.

Also, why would you think she acted as Dahlia, when Ace Attorney only started having voice acting with the most recent game?
