Mikko Alatalo, mentioned in the episode, is a legendary Finnish musician who was elected to the parliament in the 2003 elections as a representative of the Centre Party. His expulsion of the guitar is obviously because Alatalo is a musician. The skis are related to when he toured Finland holding ski schools for children until the 90s. Mikko is also known for always wearing blue glasses.

The episode's end mentioned "Havuja, perkele!" is a legendary exclamation referring to Marjo Matikainen-Kallström, a former National Coalition Party Member of Parliament and retired skier. She shouted "Spruce branches, damn it!" at the World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf in 1987 while skiing the five-kilometer classical race, where she also won gold.

Kuskit jättivät vain autot tien viereen tyhjäkäynnille kun joku korkea arvoisista herroista houkutteli pahaa aavistamattomat kuluttajat autoistaan metsään ilmaisten ämpäri tarjousten perässä ja sitten söivät heidät ja tällä tavalla saadaan nostettua auto veroja ylemmäs koska ihmiset jättävät autot tahalalan tryhjän käynnille kun eivät ole itse paikalla vahtimassa niitä.
