I'll post here the same thing I put on twitter (kind of a summary of what he stated) : 1. Do not send hate comments towards other people just to defend him. 2. Do not send hate comments using his name. 3. If you make ship art of Luca involving other streamers do not use his tags. And If you make ship art of him involving someone else go ask them for permission as well not just Luca. 4. If you're someone who go out of their way to attack other people representing Luca, please stop. Don't defend him because he can do it himself. 5. If you respect Luca you will respect the decisions he have stated if you don't, then he don't need you.
@@aqua666venom prob since the sussy sc and things start going too far as luca is getting famous nowadays, he does need to speak up abt it before its too late
@@aqua666venom the Augustus account (allegedly handled by mizuchi) made a drama on Twitter about shipping and basically forbidding it even tho Luca said he's fine with it as long as you're respectful. She tweeted something like "shipping is cringe. don’t tag it in any streamers’ tag, its f***ing weird”. She's imposing her own rules. Some JP lucubs politely asked if that came directly from Luca but Augustus responded rudely and aggressively. JP lucubs remained respectful btw. Luca also only gave a warning to his fans w/o mentioning Augustus. That's why some JP fans are angry and is unsubbing Luca until he replaces his mod. Most JP lucubs are still supporting him though so don't worry too much.
as someone who has been involved in nijisanji stuff for quite a while now, id say that you dont need to ask permission to make ship art. that makes the streamer aware about the ship in question, and can already make them feel a bit uncomfy. instead, ship quietly. use codenames, dont post in the tags, make a separate acc to block the vtubers themselves. shipping culture cant be removed from fandom, but when real people are involved, the least you can do it do your activities privately.
@@rein7717 with augustus you mean that youtube channel that uploaded a video doing Luca VP review? because his channel name is "not augustus" but sounds so similar :o i don't use twitter very much so i didn't knew that happened
@@daaiefuku005 yea it’s pretty weird. It’s one thing to think someone is precious, and it’s another thing to infantilize the boys and act as if they can’t make decisions or speak up for themselves.
@@dora-li8ve Right it gives me the ick, it's fine if people think they're cute when they do have cute moments, but the infantilization of these clearly grown men (and women, etc) is strange, even if they are playing a fictional character model/persona. Also which is kinda ironic since half of luxiem says the most unseiso stuff lol.
It's so weird how babied the Luxiem boys are. It often feels like they're treated like children. We need to remember these guys are GROWN MEN, who can take care of themselves. They're not "innocent UwU babies", and it's getting tiring
every vtubers are grown up so yeah hope they change thier perspective about the v tubers and dont be hella dramatic all of the time when some trolls is against thier oshi lmao
I kinda felt like I was weird for thinking like this too, because I've seen a lot of people think these guys (and girls) can't handle themselves and obviously if they couldn't they wouldn't be streamers in the first place. That's just my opinion I guess
i think its due to the influx of recent viewers and non vtuber/niji watchers as well, not that those people arent doing it too because whos to say really. the boys have been very accepting and such and i think, especially new, people end up thinking its okay to cross boundaries without stopping to really think about it, which i get can happen to anyone, so hopefully they can respect boss' words and stop. i hope this environment doesn't become like the environment certain dream fans cultivated. im very glad boss is putting up boundaries or things may have been continued to be pushed.
I don't know what happened but i'm glad he's setting boundaries since luca in general just didn't seem very strict about it. Much needed too, because of the huge wave of new fans joining, with this i hope we can be better as a community
Twitter is a space that cultivates and promote negativity and arguments, it will purposefully show you things you disagree on so you interact and stay on the app longer and yes sometimes you just really want to step in and it comes from a good place but it's important to remember those streamers are adults, they aren't helpless and can handle themselves just fine. They dont need us to go to war for them and most of all if their community band against someone it will reflect badly on them. Already they don't want anyone to receive hate or harassment because of them but while I understand some people want to 'defend' their favs you're only making the situation worse by going after those people because some *will* use that as a justification to hate on our streamers even more saying they enable this type of behaviour etc so just keep scrolling and mute/block those accounts, it's that simple. Also I saw on twitter some people bash other Vtubers to elevate/defend their favourites, and of course it goes without saying please never do that, everyone works hard so its unnecessary to do so again it's just a bad look for the person you are trying to defend in the first place. Regarding the ship art or even NSFW tag in general please don't use both the normal art tag and NFSW tag on your art, they are separated for a reason and as Luca said please when making ship art make sure both parties in the art have consented to this kind of art. It is basic respect you owe anyone and use the # of the ship name or just put a caption with people's name in it since, again, not everyone wants to see that type of art and it has nothing g to do with your skills or you yourself either, those tags are all made separately for a reason :) I'm glad Luca decided to address this and did emphasize it is a minority doing those things sadly it can be a very loud minority that fuels negativity regarding the community and streamers themselves.
I was surprised at how en fans (new fans) started tagging both sfw and nsfw on a sensitive art 🗿 now that if you wanted to remind them too, you hesitate since it may hurt them
@@emoaf8555 yeah me too I thought it was self explanatory by the fact that they had two tags for that exact reasons but as long as they are explained why they shouldn't do that (nicely, no hate or harassment cause that shit is cringe) it's good, it was bound to happen with all the new fans that arrived from other fandoms with Luxiem but it's okay they're -hopefully- learning!
Thanks for confirming something I was suspicious of for a long time. I always had a suspicion that twitter constantly shows you things you hate, so you are encouraged to argue and stay in the app. I am a left leaning person politically (I am not here to argue politics) but no matter what twitter would constantly force my countries right wing politicians tweets and hashtags. Again I am not here to argue politics. I just want to point out that your post confirmed a suspicion that I had for a long time that twitter forces things in your feed that you hate, so as to encourage you to argue and stay in the app.
Love how even the jp/cn/ any non-english speaking artists that I know immediately deleted their shipping art tweets and reposted them again without Luca's main tags after he addressed this, hope Luca knows he's free to set his boundaries and his fans would listen to him.
I swear I'm seeing you in every video related to vtuber (nijisanji and holo) 😁 IKR! After Mysta now Boss is making boundaries 💛. I just hope some fans in other country know this and respect Boss boundary :(
a gentle reminder to chat esp the newer fans who are new to vtubers in general that the people behind these avatars are real adults who know better than anyone when it comes to what they are doing and can make their own decisions and luxiem are probably older than half of the fandom so pls stop babying them
seriously i feel like this is sykkuno all over again😭these guys are well over the age of 8, they’re totally fine and have a mind/fortitude of their own
Indeed is really weird and uncomfy to me when people start to blur the line between the person and the character or not even that, when they start to treat them like there 16 or smthn like that bc they keep "protecting" them and calling them cute or innocent is So weird man :S
As someone that most of the time being babied (because I'm small & short for a 26 years old woman) I know how annoying it can be. Especially when the one babying you is far younger or sometimes, minor.
Luca’s the type of ppl who comes of as a kind and positive person, but when something gets on his nerves he WILL speak up abt it. He’s not afraid to speak up abt things that makes him uncomfy. I’m glad these guys aren’t afraid to set boundaries w their fans, pls do better. Bcs if a problem comes up, their whole career would be in danger. If you really do enjoy watching them, pls respect their boundaries.
4 years ago, when Nijisanji JP brunch finally got popular in Japan, I remember similar things happened to several streamers. Eventually, the viewers started to use shipping codenames instead of using their actual talent name on Twitter when they wanna talk about the couplings, so that the streamers or other fans who don’t like to see the kind of stuff don’t notice. Ever since then, the culture still remains to this day. I think it’s one way to solve the problem. I don’t understand people harassing other fans but I kinda get the feeling of fans who wants to avoid seeing those shipping comments. As one of their fans, all I can do is just ignoring the sort of people and keep supporting bois😉
yes from what i've known the jp fans is very private about shipping and will even unfollow the streamers that is involved in their ship so they don't see it
@@dango5426 yeah its true the asian fandoms (mostly fangirls) took shipping like 10 times more complicated than western fandoms n they r rlly sensitive when it comes to opinions on different ships too. they def try their best to separate their own space for the ship
yep, i really do think that en fans should take a page out of the jp fan culture when it comes to stuff like shipping, - mute/block and codenames/secret tags. It creates a community where everyone feels safe to join in on fan culture, espcially for minors or those who dont feel comfortable with shipping/thirst content. But on a side note, i think fans should follow the basics at least... there are seperate tags for a reason! dont add the nsfw as well as the general or sfw tag, that just defeats the purpose of multiple tags! and also - defending your streamer almost does nothing if not add to the problem. just shower your oshis with loves and treat disagreements with silence
Also just want to point out that the strict tag system in JP / Asian fandoms apply to not just streamers but pretty much all things that involve shipping. It's VERY discouraged to tag ship arts with the official tag of the brand/franchise and should be using special tags instead, including using correct top/bottom tags. Western fandoms tend to take this super lightly and spam any "relevant" tags on their fanstuff for the sake of viewership, but these rules are literally to make sure the right art is filtered to the right category and aren't seen by people who don't want to see the content.
Yup. One codenames they have is by using their oshi marks. So let say you have ship art for Luca and Ike, it will be just 🦁💰 × 🖋. Others used numbers instead of names. Like for Rosemi, you can use 603 if you want to be discreet. The simplest code name I've seen was removing some vowels/consonants on their names so Luca = lc, Ike= ik, Vox = vx, Selen = sln, Elira = elr and so on. They can get really creative with codenames.
Luca is an overall ball of sunshine. For him to go to this extent in addressing some issues, it must have been really bothering him. Mad respect for him for assertively setting boundaries and making it clear what's okay and not. The bigger the community gets, the more people there are and by proxy the more toxic it gets. The step Luca took is needed. He is amazing. I adore him even more.
I am really glad that Luca has addressed this because really putting other people down or writing hate comments to defend Luca or let's say any luxiem members is really low of the person who's doing it, it can be considered as cyberbullying, and just because you are behind the screen, that doesn't justify your actions, so-called like hero protecting your idol by sending hate comments to others then basically they are toxic. I am also sure that all of luxiem members are in their 20s and old enough to address their issues, they are not babies, they are full-grown adults so remember this guy, these kinds of behaviors should not be tolerated! We all should be keeping this a safe space, a peaceful and supportive community that shares similar interests in the vtuber community. As for the normal art tag and NSFW tag, I think every individual should know that it is a sensible thing to do to separate them and not tag both of them in the post. It is simple respect to the members that we are supporting and the rest of the fanbase, some people can feel uncomfortable when they come across NSFW art so please be mindful. It is also important to ask for consent from the other party so that first you get their consent, not making them feel uncomfortable, and second, you are respecting their preference despite how skillful you are or how are your arts are. I am sorry that this is getting a bit long and serious but remember guys keep things sensible, be respectful to the members we are supporting and to the community we are all in! Also, keep in mind that support them in a non-toxic way since we are engaging in parasocial interactions so don't be too obsessive as vtubers need boundaries too!
never seen any idol or influencer set their boundaries this well, without any sugar coating. honestly hoping this becomes a norm in this community for the long term.
@@iamzuru8769 he did? oh i havent seen that, ill check it out. but i really meant that most people never really say 'i dont need you if you do this' so directly, tho rightfully.
Mysta talked about this and Fulgur have set his boundaries from the start. Definitely would like to see more to get people a reality check on their parasocial relationships
Honestly Luca is one of the people that you never want to make sad or mad. People with patience tends to be scary when they're mad, same with people that excited and happy all the time when they suddenly sad you will feel really bad for them He's always positive and fooling around but once he's serious you know it's serious
Like I agree on what Luca wants for his community and this is why I don't do much shipping about Nijisanji vtubers and other stuffs because boundaries are a think, people also tend to forget that exist and also Luca is a fictional character but he is being VA or idk what the correct term is for it by someone from real life, like to put it simple there are real people who are behind these fictional characters
Me too. I don't shipping so hard with my oshi in Nijisanji. This is the reason why I'm not being a dying hard fan shipping some pairing because duh, they are a real person behind that character and sometimes they get uncomfortable with that ship. I just want to be a respectable fan while still s̶i̶m̶p̶i̶n̶g̶ supporting my oshi.
Even though I’m a fudanshi I follow luca specifically just because of his charms and cuteness not because of imaginations that I might have of shipping him with anyone. And people can get really uncomfortable if they are shipped with their friends! Although some are fine with it like Uki, if they didn’t said anything it’s not an excuse for you to do it, streamers are real people not just a 2d character
I loved this so much, thank you for clipping it. Everyone needs to see this, especially those who are new to vtubers in general. The wave of people who are new that don't bother to research about vtuber etiquettes are a lot, and the weird/borderline disrespectful stuff much too many, to the point that it's becoming the norm -- in the EN branch fanbase at least. I'm personally used to the JP branch and how everyone's so chill and respectful of boundaries, so when Luxiem came out with those who got into vtubers bc of them, there was so much chaos lol. I'm very happy for the attention 2434 got in general obviously, but I do hope that people do their research, too. That's why I'm extremely glad that livers like Luca and Mysta firmly puts their feet down when it comes to reminding fans about etiquette. Mad respect.
Truly our POGGEST GIGACHAD Boss. Yes don’t be overprotective and please keep supporting him in the most peaceful way. He is a mature and strong individual who can solve thing by HIMSELF. Most importantly, understand the meaning of courtesy, not just on internet but also in daily life. Thank you so much lucadeezclips for clipping this meaningful message 🙏🏻
Im so glad he spoke about this, he worded it so well. Of course, hate was bound to happen, but he took control in the right way. Hes such a good person, he deserves all the respect in the world 💛
I’m very glad he spoke up about this! I feel like some fans forget that these streamers are adults and can take care of themselves and don’t need to be coddled or babied. I’m also happy to see that the chat was understanding and agreed
I feel like part of the reason why ppl tend to baby their favorite ccs is because they don't even see them as fully-fledged human beings, but more like a fictional character. Especially more so for vtubers cause they're in the grey area when it comes to fiction and reality; their character isn't exactly a real person but they're not fully fictional either. That's why i think ppl babying them see them more like they're slightly more advanced anime characters instead of human beings with their own agency. So like, the important thing to note here, is that you just have to remember that. It's fine to get self-indulgent from time to time cause like i said, vtuber characters are in part, fictional characters as well, but when you're about to like, get toxic because you wanna defend them or get overly worried abt them, just remember that they're fully grown adults who can take care of themselves. We're not in any way directly involved with their lives, we're only here as viewers to their entertainment. Or in a less harsher tone: just trust them to take care of their own stuffs.
im glad he's calling them out, many influencers or celebrities don't even bother to acknowledge the toxic ppl in their fanbases. like yes, he cannot control or police his fandom, but he can still take responsibility and remind them to not push the limit. i really admire luca for doing this
I remember someone saying something along the lines of not using their likeness in pfps or on social media and such because anything negative you say could be traced back to the streamer and end up reflecting them and their community. it often reminds me of how the community's actions can reflect the streamer even if its not accurate. remember, tho behind an avatar, they *are* real people providing entertainment. for those who struggle with emotions or holding urself back/speak before you think, before you tweet out something that could be negative/defensive, try to think if that would reflect the streamer or if that streamer would approve, genuinely, and if you're actually doing any good. not everyone is going to enjoy what you do, so try to enjoy these things knowing you are someone who is able to find the joy in something like this, and accept that it doesn't have to be your whole life even if you enjoy it so much. you don't need to get angry for these people as they can do so for themselves. And if they haven't done so, its usually because its not as big as a deal as you think it is/they wont waste their time on people like that. so you shouldn't too
I’m glad he addressed this, there are some people who apparently didn’t understand that there are boundaries for streamers. I’ve never seen him so serious before and I truly hope he wasn’t overwhelmed and stressed out over those people. Hopefully those things stop and they respect his boundaries.
this side of boss kinda scares me, especially in the beginning. Seeing him mad/serious is actually scary. But I'm glad he was able to speak about this.
I've never liked the whole "it's only a minority" when addressing toxic fanbases. Even if it's true, when you have a big fandom, that's still a large number of toxicity that needs to be addressed. And even a small amount of people sending hate to an individual can be incredibly hurtful. I'm glad Luca addressed this bc the only person those lucubs would listen to is him, and they need to understand that even if you're trying to defend him, fighting fire with fire is not okay at all.
OMG OUR BOSS IS A KING 👑 Seriously though..... He is very very pog while addressing this matter omg 😭😭😭😭 we, as Lucubs, should support our boss poggingly guys LET'S GOOOOO
I'm really glad that he spoke about this. There are streamers who just let their fans do whatever they want to do until it's too late. Setting boundaries in your own fandom is your responsibility and I'm happy that many Niji Livers are doing this to their fans.
I've been noticing some of that stuff with other livers and... It saddens me so much... These people are putting their heart and soul into their work and they are being treated as nothing more than a figure... I know that in their work they try to stick as much as possible to their respective characters but... People need to remember that behind the characters that they love there's still a living person with their own capabilities and worries like all of us... Yes their job involves a lot of roleplay but they are still human, they have emotions and worries too. Also tying that to ship art.... Like Luca said, if both parties are a-ok with what's being depicted in the art, go ahead but... Don't do that without consulting anyone cause again, there are people behind those characters... Even if you are shipping just the characters, these characters are closely tied to the person behind them so... Think of it like that, would YOU feel comfortable if someone started to ship you with a friend or coworker? I'm sure you wouldn't so... Please just keep in mind there are living, breathing people behind the scenes.
I do understand people want to defend their oshis but sometimes it is better to just ignore the haters. Sometimes, if we fire back it just gets out of hand. At the end of the day, it is the name of the liver who is affected by it.
I got into Niji from Luxiem and I definitely did notice that a number of the Luxiem boy's fanbases are kinda weird or just something is off with like how they baby some of the guys like Luca, Mysta and even Vox. I've been in a number of V-tuber chats and I haven't really seen this kind of thing happen to that extent before. Clearly they are very supportive but it feels like to me that go even beyond that to a sort of uncomfortable territory with the shipping and trying to baby them. I'm sure most of the viewers in those fanbases are fine but definitely feels like there is a vocal bunch of them. And the strangest part is that watching alot of the other Niji en girl's streams, I don't really see this sort of thing happen in their chats or fanbases. Just my observations as a relatively new viewer of Niji
I think it's mainly because Luxiem is kinda the first big male corporate vtubers so there's obviously a lot of attraction from people who either have not been in the vtuber community and the fact that they're guys so they cater more on the minority of female vtuber fans and newer vtuber fans. It's bound to happen when you're kinda new unlike the NijiEN girls where the meta for vtubers have always been female livers.
@@carolinedelafuente7251 That's a great point, I'd definitely imagine the Luxiem guys have a significantly higher female fanbase on average than the other female vtubers and that by nature would lead to a different vibe from their chats.
I don't have twt but yah during this time I was smiling so hard and just going "GO BOSS TELL THEM YEAHHH" it feels so good to see luca or vtubers in general addressing this problem so seriously. I also do not like seeing people going out of their way to say hateful thing especially if it is to 'defend' someone, I feel that it is so unreasonable and just really unpleasant
Listen up Y'ALL. Stop babying your fudging fave vtuber. No matter how innocent, pure or cute they are.... THEY'RE STILL ADULTS AT THE END. Please, do not try to act as if you're his friend or sum, you guys are just strangers from the internet, and while it's harsh and cold, it's the truth, do not fight hate with hate, please-- and another thing, do not send hates to the other vtubers that your oshi interacts with, they're all grown up, they don't need babysitting, and lastly, regarding to the Nsfw tag and art tag, do not tag both of them, they're separated for a reason.
Even is this doesn’t solve it 100% and it gonna take some time since it Twitter, I’m really glad Boss address this since Boss really showing his way of handling things and care about us and ultimately himself. Sasuga our boss 💛
OMG I don't know what actually hapened but he being this serious makes me think the worst, sadly twitter is a huge toxic place. Wishing the best for boss!
Ngl this is the first time I genuinely felt like I'm kind of scared to disappoint him despite not doing any of what he said, and I think that's a good thing bcs it's a sign that he successfully relayed what he wanted to relay. Boss I genuinely hope we never disappoint you again!!! 😭😭😭 And also, thank you for clipping this, it makes the information easier to digest for future newcomers and Lucubs~!
The thing about the fan community is that it was created because of the personality/streamer which means that what the community does reflects the personality/streamer themselves. It can be said that they wouldn't be doing what they are doing right now if not for the presence of that particular personality/streamer which is why we should be mindful of how we act because the actions of people within the community could represent the community especially to those outside the community and then the community would also represent the streamer/personality to those who don't know them. So be mindful of what you do especially when you bear the title of being a part of a particular community because it would reflect to the personality/streamer indirectly. In addition to that, know that "defending" your oshi, especially in the internet, does not help anyone at all. You are not able to defend anything and you're especially not helping anyone. This holds even more true if you're trying to bring someone else down in doing so. No one would rise up even if you push somebody else down. You would just hurt somebody on top of not being able to help anybody. Remember, if you want to help your oshi, use your time to help them by giving support instead of wasting it to hate the ones attacking them by spreading salt.
yall need to understand that hes an adult and at the end of the day he knows how to handle things, like yeah he has his himbo moments (lmao) but he knows how to do his shit smh
What's even new at this point, some people on twitter doing god knows what again 🙄🤦♀️ I'm glad that he doesn't tolerate these kinds of actions and is able to be firm about what he stands for
lets be real here most of the viewers of every v tubers thinks that thier oshi is not a grown up behind thier avatars and always "protect" them because they think its good but it's not, its cringe as hell, especially when they're so loud and so confident about thier words and doesn't show respect for thier vtuber who they are "protecting" its wierd, cringe and so dumb this is why theres so many drama about vtubers and anime related stuff because of those who "protects" which makes things worse. and I'm so glad a vtuber is talking about it especially my boss hell yeah in so proud of him more than before ❤️
Sasuga boss!! I am really glad he spoke up about this... Just as a little reminder that they are adults and they all can handle such stuff, I hope that people can just easily avoid those haters and move on, they want from you to make such a fuss, they will use your argument and your insults as a proof against you and the whole community and it's gonna reflect so badly on the streamers and us as fans... I felt so happy when he talked about shipping art because they make me really uncomfortable, I really respect my oshis and every vtuber I watch and I really appreciate them, seeing them shipped like that makes me feel so uneasy and kinda confused so I do my best to avoid them... I am that one person who hates shipping people so easily lol ;--; so I hope you guys and all the amazing artists would understand and consider our feelings too and stop using the main tag hehe, thank you~ I hope everyone will respect Luca's decisions, they are very very important just for his and our good!!
If u ignore the hate they will slowly realise that no attention will be given to those negative comments & it’s useless & they’ll slowly fade away coz they learned that doing those things won’t give them fame or attention. These ppl just want attention that’s all.
I'm going to admit that I really hate the shipping thing. I know some of them are ok with it but it just goes against normal principles of fetishizing and shipping two people who are NOT fictional. I've seen so many people theorise that Luca is dating someone in Luxiem or in NIJI EN in general because of stupid reasons. You probably never had a real friend in real life if you think that being close to a person means that you're dating them.
And this is exactly why Luca doesn't want the ships in his tags. :( honestly, before when vtuber was mostly in jp and the audience was in jp, the ones who do like shipping a streamer with another streamer is usually in a locked acc and have the vtubers they ship blocked so that no one can see but them and a select few people. When Luxiem came around i was so shocked to see people being so open shipping these boys together,,, they're definitely ones from the west and those who don't know the unspoken rule of shipping vtubers and how to handle it. I miss those peaceful days.
They ARE fictional. It is unbelievably ignorant to think these characters were not made by nijisanji to be sexualized and manipulate their audience to give them money. That shit is by design. If you don't get that, you should stop doing it. They literally USE shipping as a selling point. Even though I agree with a lot of points, I absolutely do not give a flying fuck about this voice actor beyond general human decency. This comment section is full of smug assholes demonizing everyone but the guy who is PAID to manipulate them. " He is a human, you guuuuys. The fans who do THIS are evil and toxic, let's not see them as human beings, but the anime boy is human you guuuuuys."
Idk the whole thing that happened, but for how I understand, I think its all about the "police" in the community. Imo, Policing is okay so as long as that police used a polite words to ppl who seem saying bad, but I gotta agree to what Luca said that it can be look bad-- in this case, what Luca see is absolute bad and its on Twitter... which is not surprising. I think Luca already knows that Twitter is a dogshit hopeless, but still, glad he adress this. As a random person who experienced bad policing outside Niji, I gotta say I feel a lil bit relief that Luca discuss abt this. Hence why I just keep loving Nijisanji more. Though just bcoz I said it, that doesnt mean I would just allow myself to be policed lol. Anyway, thanks for the clip!
Basically: P O G R E S P O N S I B L Y I had to space it out to make it easy to read and understandable for that select, and unfortunately, loud minority I'll admit, I love Luca, but I often can't watch his streams live because of school, work, etc. so I watch your clips (thank you btw) so I can POG along with everyone else. But the stuff he mentioned in this clip, holy shit I never thought there would be anyone who'd do this kinda stuff LOL just be a decent human being and treat everyone with kindness and respect, sheeesh is that really too much to ask 👀
its so gross how people don't see him as an actual person like he's a human behind being a vtuber people have boundaries and it isn't that hard to respect them??
I admit it guys I am one of the people that hate those shipping among vtubers especially in NFSW art. It's just my life perspective (please don't hate me) and I appreciate people actually respect our opinion. I do enjoy small gesture but not extremely. I need to remind, I only spend my time on twt looking for arts for reference and my own pleasure and I just scrolled down or skip when I see something I don't like. Just to remind also that each of us has different life experiences, opinion, and way of living in one aspect of life. No need force other to accept our piece of mind. Just be respectful of those opposite views and be kind. That's how U POG.
I don't understand what going on , but ppl need to think twice before type and send Or post it . Sometimes words in the internet can gave a quite big impact for the person who U talk bad about y'know 🙁
I wonder what is considered as ship art. If I draw Luca and Pomu (or any other girls) in a drawing bickering with each other or something, is that a ship art? I'm just really curious on what makes a ship art.
if it doesn't have explicitly romantic elements then it's not ship art, like your example of Luca and other nijien girls bickering/ hanging out is not ship art. Luca also mentioned that he loves seeing cute art of him with other members.
I think as long as there's no romantic/sexual implications (or obvious) between luca and the other liver. Just him interacting with other liver =/= shipping
I believe he asked to not tag ship art with his official tags, which also includes his official NSFW tag. So I think you shouldn’t! There are fanmade tags you can use for the ships though.
What I understand is that the main tag means all the tags he has, so it's including the nsfw tag as well. From other people's explanations too, so I think it's better to just use only ship hashtag at the ship post.
im not trying to say bad think.. but, it pointless since it come to twitter u litterly can do anything about it even though u littery want to saying this i gurranted something like this going to happen again anytime soon..idk but reddit i hear is has same lvl but as person who spend time with twitter since 2012 is litterly pointless to point this up.. Becouse toxicity will come and go and come again where evwr u like it or not..i hope any EN Nijisanji just stay positive! be happy and don't think to much since this will break some of their mental with fatigue that maybe..some haven't get rest after some Stream any Kudos!
Artists who respect his feelings have already gone and removed his tags from their shipping art, EN, JP, CN, whatever language they may speak. But yes, Twitter is a wet shit you want to avoid stepping into, per usual.
This is why I don't really use Twitter anymore. A lot of people there are very mean and I don't want to get hate simply for just existing also Luca is a grown man. Just because he acts the way he does doesn't mean he's a baby. And if you don't understand that getcho Trevor from GTA lookin asses out of here. I want his community to have a positive vibe, not a bad one edit: if i dont make sense im sorry english isnt my first language
there isn't drama just to tag your fan content better and not disgust other fans who didn't expect and want to see shipping stuff ship tags exists to not bother the general tags
I'll post here the same thing I put on twitter (kind of a summary of what he stated) :
5. If you respect Luca you will respect the decisions he have stated if you don't, then he don't need you.
what happened to get this response from luca monkaS
@@rein7717 with augustus you mean that youtube channel that uploaded a video doing Luca VP review? because his channel name is "not augustus" but sounds so similar :o i don't use twitter very much so i didn't knew that happened
and our boss finally reminds everyone that he is indeed a grown-up man, who can handle such things himself. what a chad.
It's weird how just because he's nice and innocent, people percieve him as someone who can't handle hate and baby him
I feel like some people baby Luxiem too much in general
@@daaiefuku005 yea it’s pretty weird. It’s one thing to think someone is precious, and it’s another thing to infantilize the boys and act as if they can’t make decisions or speak up for themselves.
@@dora-li8ve Personally i think it might be because of the general demographic of luxiem but who knows
That's just my opinion I guess
i think its due to the influx of recent viewers and non vtuber/niji watchers as well, not that those people arent doing it too because whos to say really. the boys have been very accepting and such and i think, especially new, people end up thinking its okay to cross boundaries without stopping to really think about it, which i get can happen to anyone, so hopefully they can respect boss' words and stop. i hope this environment doesn't become like the environment certain dream fans cultivated. im very glad boss is putting up boundaries or things may have been continued to be pushed.
yea, its pretty parasocial. im glad the boys are speaking out ab it though, ik mysta and vox have brought it up.
Yeah which is weird considering they're not even "innocent babies" in the first place with how unseiso they are at their streams
It is basic respect you owe anyone and use the # of the ship name or just put a caption with people's name in it since, again, not everyone wants to see that type of art and it has nothing g to do with your skills or you yourself either, those tags are all made separately for a reason :)
I'm glad Luca decided to address this and did emphasize it is a minority doing those things sadly it can be a very loud minority that fuels negativity regarding the community and streamers themselves.
I was surprised at how en fans (new fans) started tagging both sfw and nsfw on a sensitive art 🗿 now that if you wanted to remind them too, you hesitate since it may hurt them
@@emoaf8555 yeah me too I thought it was self explanatory by the fact that they had two tags for that exact reasons but as long as they are explained why they shouldn't do that (nicely, no hate or harassment cause that shit is cringe) it's good, it was bound to happen with all the new fans that arrived from other fandoms with Luxiem but it's okay they're -hopefully- learning!
nicely put!
Yeah basically twitter is the heaven for attention seeker. Irrational comments will spread faster than words of wisdom.
Love how even the jp/cn/ any non-english speaking artists that I know immediately deleted their shipping art tweets and reposted them again without Luca's main tags after he addressed this, hope Luca knows he's free to set his boundaries and his fans would listen to him.
I'm glad the artists are taking this well!

a gentle reminder to chat esp the newer fans who are new to vtubers in general that the people behind these avatars are real adults who know better than anyone when it comes to what they are doing and can make their own decisions and luxiem are probably older than half of the fandom so pls stop babying them
seriously i feel like this is sykkuno all over again😭these guys are well over the age of 8, they’re totally fine and have a mind/fortitude of their own
Indeed is really weird and uncomfy to me when people start to blur the line between the person and the character or not even that, when they start to treat them like there 16 or smthn like that bc they keep "protecting" them and calling them cute or innocent is
So weird man :S
He is our BOSS
so of course he doesn't need our protection, he's the poggest of us all, god bless this Chad soul
Luca may be a playful and innocent soul, but he's still an adult. A human. If you don't treat him like one, you dont deserve his respect

U know Luca is very serious about this matter when there's no POG in his sentences.
Like I agree on what Luca wants for his community and this is why I don't do much shipping about Nijisanji vtubers and other stuffs because boundaries are a think, people also tend to forget that exist and also Luca is a fictional character but he is being VA or idk what the correct term is for it by someone from real life, like to put it simple there are real people who are behind these fictional characters
i think the word you're looking for is "persona" or "virtual persona" specifically
@@rqnpo6432 thanks 🙏
Although some are fine with it like Uki, if they didn’t said anything it’s not an excuse for you to do it, streamers are real people not just a 2d character
i’m glad he’s speaking up about this

Im so glad he spoke about this, he worded it so well. Of course, hate was bound to happen, but he took control in the right way. Hes such a good person, he deserves all the respect in the world 💛
He is our BOSS and we should FOLLOW and RESPECT him.
This reason doesn't work on part of Sykkuno's community
im glad he's calling them out, many influencers or celebrities don't even bother to acknowledge the toxic ppl in their fanbases.
like yes, he cannot control or police his fandom, but he can still take responsibility and remind them to not push the limit.
i really admire luca for doing this
I remember someone saying something along the lines of not using their likeness in pfps or on social media and such because anything negative you say could be traced back to the streamer and end up reflecting them and their community.
it often reminds me of how the community's actions can reflect the streamer even if its not accurate. remember, tho behind an avatar, they *are* real people providing entertainment.
for those who struggle with emotions or holding urself back/speak before you think, before you tweet out something that could be negative/defensive, try to think if that would reflect the streamer or if that streamer would approve, genuinely, and if you're actually doing any good.
not everyone is going to enjoy what you do, so try to enjoy these things knowing you are someone who is able to find the joy in something like this, and accept that it doesn't have to be your whole life even if you enjoy it so much. you don't need to get angry for these people as they can do so for themselves.
God we love a content creator that sets very clear boundaries 😌 Love Luca so much
this side of boss kinda scares me, especially in the beginning.
I'm glad he's finally discussing this, some stuff has been getting out of hand for awhile
Luca is such a nice person, I hope everyone keeps in mind what he said, especially what he said about the harassment
OMG OUR BOSS IS A KING 👑
Seriously though..... He is very very pog while addressing this matter omg 😭😭😭😭

Mad respect for him speaking up about it. Thank you
I'm really glad that he spoke about this.
I'm glad Luca is telling haters not to send hate comments

No matter how innocent, pure or cute they are.... THEY'RE STILL ADULTS AT THE END. I'm really glad that Luca say these

Boss I genuinely hope we never disappoint you again!!! 😭😭😭
And also, thank you for clipping this, it makes the information easier to digest for future newcomers and Lucubs~!
Respect, and thank you.
People just need to grow up and behave themselves. Act your age, show other people the respect that you would like to be shown.

I am that one person who hates shipping people so easily lol ;--; so I hope you guys and all the amazing artists would understand and consider our feelings too and stop using the main tag hehe, thank you~
I hope everyone will respect Luca's decisions, they are very very important just for his and our good!!
If u ignore the hate they will slowly realise that no attention will be given to those negative comments & it’s useless & they’ll slowly fade away coz they learned that doing those things won’t give them fame or attention. These ppl just want attention that’s all.
POOOOOOGGGG!
Feels bad man 😔
thank you 4 clipping this !!
Basically:
P O G
R E S P O N S I B L Y
I had to space it out to make it easy to read and understandable for that select, and unfortunately, loud minority
I'll admit, I love Luca, but I often can't watch his streams live because of school, work, etc. so I watch your clips (thank you btw) so I can POG along with everyone else. But the stuff he mentioned in this clip, holy shit I never thought there would be anyone who'd do this kinda stuff LOL just be a decent human being and treat everyone with kindness and respect, sheeesh is that really too much to ask 👀
Ship tags exists to not bother the general tags. Use ship tags instead of normal fanart tags or nsfw tags only use the ship tag
you heard the boss
its so gross how people don't see him as an actual person like he's a human behind being a vtuber people have boundaries and it isn't that hard to respect them??
I admit it guys
I am one of the people that hate those shipping among vtubers especially in NFSW art.
Why is it so hard for some people to just be normal?
Idk what these ppl are doing, boss just want to have fun like bullying pomu, not do shit like hate.
why is he kinda scary especially when he say that he will get mad lmao i feel like my cuddly golden retriever dog suddenly bared its fangs to me 😓
A no brainer thought, but a reminder that this means not to attack those loud select few people either. Aside from that, enjoy your time.
Glad that Luca ain't pulling a Dream
Can someone explain what happened on Twitter?
I'm curious too, from the other comments it sounds like something about shipping and harrassment?
Augustus got killed, the tweets screencaps are on 4ch if you really want to know u can start digging there, i don't want to explain that mess here
Nothing happened yet on twt but he's setting boundaries before anything major happens like his previous senpais aye
@@stavious5761 which part of 4ch? i cant find it
Luca smash. Also these things need to be explained? Do these people also think its okay to piss in public too?
tbh somehow this makes me to think some underaged people wanting luca's attention this might continue just to get luca's attention.
I don't use Twitter much, what happened?
Best boss 💛💛
Omg what happened?
hes kinda scary i feel like im being scolded by my mom or smtgh was abt to sob LMAO
i dont know and dont want to know what happened, but i hope that people are more respectful-
I don't understand what going on , but ppl need to think twice before type and send Or post it . Sometimes words in the internet can gave a quite big impact for the person who U talk bad about y'know 🙁
oya. what brought this on
Context?
i dont see why not when i recall that roa incident
?
what does this have to do with roa incident?
I wonder what is considered as ship art. If I draw Luca and Pomu (or any other girls) in a drawing bickering with each other or something, is that a ship art? I'm just really curious on what makes a ship art.
if it doesn't have explicitly romantic elements then it's not ship art, like your example of Luca and other nijien girls bickering/ hanging out is not ship art. Luca also mentioned that he loves seeing cute art of him with other members.
I think as long as there's no romantic/sexual implications (or obvious) between luca and the other liver. Just him interacting with other liver =/= shipping
Genuine question, can you still put his nsfw tag on a ship art?
I believe he asked to not tag ship art with his official tags, which also includes his official NSFW tag. So I think you shouldn’t! There are fanmade tags you can use for the ships though.
@@cee_clips oh thank you for clearing it up!
no ship art on any of his "main tags" so that including the nsfw one
What I understand is that the main tag means all the tags he has, so it's including the nsfw tag as well. From other people's explanations too, so I think it's better to just use only ship hashtag at the ship post.
Just to be on the safe side, I want to clarify if crossdressing is included in the nsfw tag? (Even without sexual content)
“Be nice”. People don’t deserve kindness, very few do
Yesterday's stream is the first stream i saw live XD
im not trying to say bad think.. but, it pointless since it come to twitter u litterly can do anything about it even though u littery want to saying this i gurranted something like this going to happen again anytime soon..idk but reddit i hear is has same lvl but as person who spend time with twitter since 2012 is litterly pointless to point this up..
A lot of people there are very mean and I don't want to get hate simply for just existing
also Luca is a grown man. Just because he acts the way he does doesn't mean he's a baby. And if you don't understand that getcho Trevor from GTA lookin asses out of here. I want his community to have a positive vibe, not a bad one
edit: if i dont make sense im sorry english isnt my first language
wait what happened? hate comments to who? ship to who? I'm curious about the drama!!!
there isn't drama just to tag your fan content better and not disgust other fans who didn't expect and want to see shipping stuff
ship tags exists to not bother the general tags
I wonder how many times he’s had to say “don’t make ship art and slap my tags on it because I don’t wanna see that shit”.
