Maybe don't need linings, but doing something to treat the roughout interior so that they're less grippy on the socks would be nice.
True, I hate having my socks slide down my legs over the course of the day. Didn’t know rough interiors could cause that but it makes sense.

@@ricochetey It is, but thankfully I'll get them when Muckboot season is halfway done so I won't have to wait too long to wear them full time.
@Ives1776 True the salty brine they use here is way hard on leather boots. I just picked up some Rubber Steger mukluks good to -40F so I'm stoked to try them out.

I think you missed the part where he said "Blue Collar". It's meant for work and hard use. My only concern would be if they come in square toe. Yea, get the jokes out, but I'll be laughing in comfort with a wide toe-box.

Why is it so much wider than a normal cowboy boot? It looks horribly ill-proportioned.
A work boot, not a cowboy/western boot. That fat lip will hold muck all day long and there is no heel ledge for spurs. Reminds me of the plain old-school Wolverine work boot. Wish Nicks would make a Ropet style
they took down my negative comment on them, i wonder why. so i'll say it again, those are butt ugly boots. no style. the shafts are so wide they will print through your jeans. if you can get your jeans over them. the shaft flares out from the heel counter, so i predict bad heel slip. but overall they lack style. they have a bulky drab look. the one thing i do like, is they don't have a lineing. so feel should stay nice and cool. but they realy should get somone to design a proper pair of cowboy boots. if they weren't made of leather, they look just like those cheap rubber mucking boots you get at walmart. lets see how long this one stays up.
