I'm experienced Archicad user. This is one of the best channel about Archicad. Also if you are a beginner (1-3 year user), you wont regret buying a template. Trust me it's worth it. It will save you a lot of time. Also no matter how experienced you are, always look at others how they work and use Archicad, you will find new trick and treats even in instruments&tools that you think you now good. Hello from Moldova.
Thank you very much, always a lot to learning from you. Not a big issue but I noticed that every time I open a new file the issue manager and organizer palettes are open, I tried to close them and save the workspace scheme..is it a bug?
Hi there. Yes I think it may have been a bug, but fixed in the latest release. You'll have to undock those palettes, close them, and then redefine/update your Workspace Scheme. Thanks for the comment, I'll have to update the download as well:)
Thanks for the comment. 1. After downloading, unzip. 2. Open Work Environment Settings, go to WE Profiles (top tab). 3. Import, by navigating to top folder of downloaded WE, then import top folder. 4. Note Schemes stored with profile, then apply!
"not having access to newer commands when importing older profiles": this gets annoying, as you need to set up your WE from scratch* every-single-year, I really wish GS would introduce a work environment migration assistant or something like that at this point, that updates your menu items and palettes and gives a list of deprecated ones, while pulling your attention to the new stuff... * I tend to roll my shortcuts across versions and only redo the rest
Great point! Thanks for the comment. Yes you can selectively bring across specific schemes within the profile like shortcuts as you mentioned, and I find that rarely do the new functions have any short-keys assigned so that's one area not to stress about losing stuff! Great suggestion on a WE migration, could be useful!

Hello I'm from Laos. I don't know why can not import your profile to my archicad 27
The distance guides feature does not work
It's not working at all? Like you're not getting the guides to show up? Make sure you have some walls placed, as it needs a reference to work from.
Switch it on and click on a wall

Same here, every year the same problem. Actually I watched this movie to find if maybe John found a workaround :/
