Shadow is basically like Keanu Reeves and John Wick in one to me so it gave me an idea of what if John Wick voices the Ultimate Life Form?

Nope. They want to get A-list celebrities to voice game characters in the movies. The only exception was Tails, and that's only because they already had Colleen O'Shaughnessey voice him in the post-credit scene for the first movie, and they didn't want to have to deal with the backlash they would get by recasting him after he already had a voice in one movie. That's why I think going forward, no game characters will ever speak when they are introduced in a post-credit scene because the studio doesn't want to tie themselves down with having to use the game VA that was just a placeholder voice when they can cast an A-list celebrity that will get more butts in seats.
@@ryanjones358 Usually not in animation's case. It's funny, it's the character that makes the voice actors famous. RARELY was it the other way round. The only one that really did that was the late great Robin Williams and even then he didn't want to be promoted like crazy. (complicated history) Outside of some Dreamworks movies and whatever the hell Illumination is doing, I don't usually see big names being promoted in animation, but that's probably because voice acting is looked down upon on the whole-and I WISH I was being grandiose in that. Seriously, even big name actors still get screwed over in animation. Yet the voice actors, the men and women who make it their specialty to make any sort of animated character feel real... It agitates me to know end. Don't get me wrong, I do end up liking who Jeff Fowler gets for the characters but just man... MAN! So many great voice actors out there and 99/100 times, they will ALWAYS do the better job!

Shadow's voice acting in Sonic 3 is fantastic. Shadow and Maria's story sounds identical to mine and my cousin Simone's, who died on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 PM at the age of 32 due to a brain hemorrhage! his favorite characters were Tails and Shadow, but he couldn't watch Sonic2, released in April 2022, 2 months after his death, nor Sonic3, released almost 3 years after his death, the scenes where Sonic and Shadow bend down to help Tom and Maria, made me relive in my mind the moment when Simone died in my arms, it was Thursday the 17th at 3.15 in the morning when while I was hugging his body, he stopped breathing and his heart stopped forever, even though he had cerebrally not been among us for 28 hours before, I'm sorry he couldn't see the movies he was waiting for, and he only managed to see Tails in the final scene of Sonic1 in 2020, as in Shadow's heart also in mine THE LIGHT SHINES EVEN THOUGH THE STAR IS GONE!
Because the studio feels that will get more butts in seats. That's why The Super Mario Bros. Movie was filled with A-list celebrities, and Charles Martinet only got to voice two minor characters and not Mario and Luigi.
I gotta say, I think Hailee Steinfeld is my new favorite pick to voice Amy. Paramount has shown with characters like both Knuckles and even Sonic that their not afraid to change the tone of their voice, and it's worked out great for them. On top of that, Movie 3 has flat out confirmed that the characters are aging, so her voice being more mature as a result of her being older makes sense in the movie universe.

That's why I think going forward, no game characters will ever speak when they are introduced in a post-credit scene because the studio doesn't want to tie themselves down with having to use the game VA that was just a placeholder voice when they can cast an A-list celebrity that will get more butts in seats.
@@ryanjones358 Usually not in animation's case. It's funny, it's the character that makes the voice actors famous. RARELY was it the other way round. The only one that really did that was the late great Robin Williams and even then he didn't want to be promoted like crazy. (complicated history)
Outside of some Dreamworks movies and whatever the hell Illumination is doing, I don't usually see big names being promoted in animation, but that's probably because voice acting is looked down upon on the whole-and I WISH I was being grandiose in that. Seriously, even big name actors still get screwed over in animation.
Yet the voice actors, the men and women who make it their specialty to make any sort of animated character feel real... It agitates me to know end. Don't get me wrong, I do end up liking who Jeff Fowler gets for the characters but just man... MAN! So many great voice actors out there and 99/100 times, they will ALWAYS do the better job!

With Shadow, it was understandable because all they did was recolor the Super Sonic model they used for Sonic 2 in the post-credit scene, but with Amy, they had to actually take the time to make a model to animate so why not go all the way and secretly cast some celebrity to voice her in the post-credit scene?

Shadow's voice acting in Sonic 3 is fantastic. Shadow and Maria's story sounds identical to mine and my cousin Simone's, who died on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 PM at the age of 32 due to a brain hemorrhage! his favorite characters were Tails and Shadow, but he couldn't watch Sonic2, released in April 2022, 2 months after his death, nor Sonic3, released almost 3 years after his death, the scenes where Sonic and Shadow bend down to help Tom and Maria, made me relive in my mind the moment when Simone died in my arms, it was Thursday the 17th at 3.15 in the morning when while I was hugging his body, he stopped breathing and his heart stopped forever, even though he had cerebrally not been among us for 28 hours before, I'm sorry he couldn't see the movies he was waiting for, and he only managed to see Tails in the final scene of Sonic1 in 2020, as in Shadow's heart also in mine THE LIGHT SHINES EVEN THOUGH THE STAR IS GONE!

Because the studio feels that will get more butts in seats. That's why The Super Mario Bros. Movie was filled with A-list celebrities, and Charles Martinet only got to voice two minor characters and not Mario and Luigi.

I gotta say, I think Hailee Steinfeld is my new favorite pick to voice Amy. Paramount has shown with characters like both Knuckles and even Sonic that their not afraid to change the tone of their voice, and it's worked out great for them. On top of that, Movie 3 has flat out confirmed that the characters are aging, so her voice being more mature as a result of her being older makes sense in the movie universe.
