back with another comment to go in depth more abt my feelings for this song- idk if it was the original idea, but in terms of how i relate to this song. it feels a lot like reaching your 20s when as a kid you had convinced yourself that something was gonna kill you before you reached 18, even if that something was yourself. you don't actively wanna die anymore, but theres this sorta feeling of being in limbo once you reach adulthood suffering from passive suicidal ideation. like a corpse that shouldnt be walking, still going about life and doing things, when it feels like you're supposed to be decomposing in the dirt somewhere. im only reaching my 4th year into my 20s myself, but its definitely a feeling that goes away for a bit and comes back to haunt you when you least expect it. springs on its way and the feeling of the seasons changing has really been messing with me, but with this song, i feel like it'll be easier to get through the next couple weeks before spring fully hits :) thank you both for this song
This song is way more relaxed and softer than ScapeGoat, yet the visuals are darker. Scapegoat is energetic, fast paced, and happier. This song is relaxing, slow, and gorey. I'm a new ghost fan and I've just realised why I liked this song so much. I have to study a lot, I'm burnt out and I feel like a "deathbody". I feel like I'm just existing from weekends to weekends. I think ghost songs are one of the first examples i found in person of 'you have to listen to it more then once'. Bc when i first listened to this and other songs i didnt really care for them but after the 3rd listen its one of the best songs ive listened to.

If GHOST were a chef, their gimmick would be making dishes with exactly the same ratio of ingredients (all very wrong in conjunction to what meal it’s supposed to be) and every selection of ingredients are wildly different.
I'm a new ghost fan and I've just realised why I liked this song so much. I have to study a lot, I'm burnt out and I feel like a "deathbody". I feel like I'm just existing from weekends to weekends.
