It seems that his abuse of Tina was mainly caused by cocaine, peach brandy, and fatigue. Feelings of aggression and paranoia are often side effects of long-term cocaine use. Between 1989 and 1991, he spent 18 months in prison for cocaine possession. There he overcame his addiction and remained sober until 2004. He said, "I had to hit bottom. And when I hit bottom, it was like jail was the best thing ever happened to me."

I don't believe anything from that movie. Ike is a brilliant musician, an amazing guitarist and pianist. I don't believe anything from Hollywood. I can't believe so many people do. It's like, use a brain cell or two.

Tina was just a groupie a junkie prostitute that hated her image and her race of people. She always wanted to be a part of the white race even if it was to destroy the image of Black men and her own race. Really she's trash but she's a celebrity so what can you say.
