The only reason why people say Don King ripped Tyson off was because he forced him and other fighters to fight the best and didn't pay them a gazillion dollars for fighting bums. Don King is a lot more like a Dana White. Don King was building an empire for boxing but a lot of people tore him down for because they didn't like his vision.

Oscar saying he’d rather be known as great and be less wealthy or not have a lot of money at all is I believe to be not true. He’s only saying that because for him fortunately everything has worked out great money wise and he has lots of it. I’m not taking anything from Oscar, he deserves in my opinion everything he’s got cause he earned it. Say what you want about him but he was a great boxer one of the best and ducked no one and fought everybody. There’s levels to the boxing game and obviously he’s on top because he put himself there by making positive decisions and 0:30 actions by his fighting skills and business ethics. Unfortunately other boxers weren’t and aren’t on his level and don’t and didn’t have the same opportunities like he did. I’m pretty sure boxers would rather be wealthy than known as a great fighter if you ask me I know I would, I mean what’d be the point of a great known boxer with nothing to show for it?
