      puresabe does get quite overboard at times ngl
      yeah the gates taking pot shots at rock doesn't make sense in the slightest

      this was really weird because i dont remember those gates ever shooting bullets on any other of my playthroughs

      the gates were shooting cause he had an a rank at that point, and at a rank and above, everything shoots those little white bullets that can suck eggs

    I can’t imagine playing a bullet hell/shmup section with MM7 megaman. NES Rock takes up 1/100th of the screen which is roughly on par with some shmup ships, but Rock in 7 takes up 1/40th. That just sounds nightmarish to deal with

    Hah, Gradius references.
    The midboss is a reference to a similar midboss from the Game Boy advance game, while the boss is a reference to the first boss of Gradius IV.

    This stage reminds me Tenguman and Wily stage 2 from MM8 with longer autoscroll mode. 👍

    This was quite an interesting stage with a pretty cool boss at the end
    If this were me playin' this stage, Proto Shield and everythin', I still probably would've died in this stage with all the onslaught that's thrown at you TwT""""

    Jesus, this is like playing Star Successor without dodging, how many bullets did they _need?_
    Honest question, is this stage even *possible* without Proto Shield or copious E-Tanks? Because I'm kind of doubtful.

      I think the tas and no damage runs use the ripple noise a lot since it one shots pretty much every enemy at full distance/power

      it scare all of us......................but the final Final boss is gonna make you PISSED your pant at how spammy it is lmaoooo

      Now let me explain, to me there are 2 kinds of bullet hell:
      1. The ones where there's a load of bullets but you can figure out a coherent pattern among the chaos (Touhou and most other shumps)
      2. this.

    It might be. I mean ZSNES is a rather old emulator and never was the most accurate either. No clue what PureSabe built this thing on for an Emulator or the specs of their machine is but this is just excessive. Also the midboss is kinda funny with just how the Proto-Shield's mechanics just utterly break how it's supposed to be fought

      yeah i think this is the only game i've had slowdown on so its not a huge concern for recording snes games. zsnes is super old but im also too stubborn to change.
