Krieg soldiers against a demonic invasion on some feodal world forgotten by the emperor. It’s strange that there are no trenches.
Trenches are long to dig and are fairly useless if the enemy has no artillery nor guns
I know that just by saying that my krieg enjoyer club membership card got revoked
@@mrsnowman04190 wouldn't trenches still be pretty useful against the Human wave tactics Chaos used here? Especially combined with Barbed wire.
Trenches are also very effective against Cavalry if you don't have any Machine guns

@@mrsnowman04190 sure but won't it take longer to get in the Trench than simply Attack someone in the open?
Granted you also can't go back to maintain your distance though so it has it's downsides. But more importantly Cavalry can't get in the Trench. Which is a pretty big deal because even in WW1 cavalry was used and it was an Issue.

I'm glad the A7V's took heavy casualties.
Not because I hate them, I actually think they're neat.
In this setting, some of the larger monsters have enough mass & muscle to just tip an A7V over sideways.

@@heruiksanudin8942 There is the K-Wagen, the Sturmpanzerwagen Oberschleisen(1918), LK II, etc. Ww1 German tank development is very interesting since they were already planning for big panzers with functional turrets during the Great War.

Болел за Германскую империю (хоть они были нашими врагами в Первую мировую войну)! Всё таки, люди симпатичней демонов и чудовищ (особенно мне Нургл отвратителен, его сущность - гниение и разложение, и гейм-дизайнеры хорошо воплотили это в модели его "копий")!
Ценю работу авторов игры, они достигли своей цели - бои интересные, а многообразие юнитов - весьма велико. Силы Хаоса хоть и сильны, но вызывают антипатию!

I love the arty of this mod. Mainly the field cannons and super-heavy mortars. And the rifle fire is awesome.
Warning; in campaign, these kinds of Imperial armies will make you tough, NOT invincible. The Skaven and Chaos Dwarfs hit me over the head several times (still haven't been able to successfuly invade Chaos Dwarfs). And if you get ambushed, you've basically toast; your main strategy, to have the enemy come on into blistering rifle fire and shattering artillery fire, is gone in an ambush battle.
The tanks are good, and should replace cavalry (or you can use Zeppelins, but tanks are unbreakable). But likewise, enemy artillery or very large units can kill them. And beware of magic, especially those spells that deal heavy damage to one unit.
I hope to see a 40k Total War in near future

Must be terrifying being in the A7V.
At first you're just mowing down demons that only strategy is to charge you, but as soon as you get comfortable you suddenly see Jolly Green Giants coming at your with swords bigger then Arnold Schwarzenegger that are not dropping dead despite all the gunfire plunged into there flesh.

That's the K Wagen. It's a super heavy tank and 2 prototype is made with one basically complete but the war ends before any of them get out from the factory.

Incredible idiocy. Especially the effect of the heavy artillery of the volley system on the density-building system. It's too strange that advanced technology has been able to get soldiers with swords so close to it.
