The SU-35 pilot got bored doing the same routine job every day over and over again so he invited the F-16 pilot to make the day look more vibrant 😂

The Media: “Dangerous! Tensions rising. International relations worsening.”

The media can only report what they are told by - in this case - the agency who released it.

It's not the media using terms like "dangerous" or "professional air force". That's the point of the video.
When something like this lands at the Pentagon they are going to put to out there with their spin on it. You may depend on it.
Can you imagine the media trying to approach the Russian pilot for comment?
How do you think that would go down?

"Russians saw an American movie and decided to replicate it in real life" kind of happened. This is pure speculation on my part, but I'm willing to bet this has been going on for DECADES, but we never heard about it because no one was lugging a 20 pound video camera into the cockpit to record them in the 70s and 80s. Yes, from both sides. But remember its not Russia flying around at US border close to their citites..
Norwegian pilots flying in the far north of Norway, close to the border with Russia have flown with cameras for decades. Photos of new types of Russian/Soviet planes always resulted in cases of something to drink being delivered from the US embassy.
There have been cameras on planes for over a century and became fairly common in WW2. You have likely seen many of these videos. The gopros just have better quality than the DoD will likely ever invest in for older aircraft like this one.

This case became resonant in Russia, there were many disputes in the Internet segment, among those who are fond of aviation, whether it is necessary to do this. The pilots themselves, when asked whether it is necessary to do this, answer that in the air it is similar to two predators trying to mark the territory, US Air Force pilots do exactly the same, only the USA, no one from Europe, but the Americans also regularly make dangerous maneuvers, this is a tradition that began in the Cold War. When asked why this is not captured on camera, the pilots say that if he took the camera with him, he would receive a very harsh punishment (in fact, in Russia the security service is going crazy, it prohibits the transfer of aircraft telemetry to the manufacturer!
