- One of the great things about full-time RV life is that we can stay somewhere as long as we want to. We are still experimenting on how long we stay at each location. Recently, we stayed on Galveston Island for a month. Having a longer stay allowed us to live like a local and experiencing a few places and things that we never had before. So in this video, we take you along as we live like a local in Galveston! We are loving the flexibility we have as full time RVers!

Thanks for the closer look at Galveston! I've been there 3 or 4 times but obviously we have more to see. Hi Chris and Betsy! Star did really well in her new boots!
Hey Rod! Galveston may not be a big place, but there is a lot to see and do there. We could not believe how well Star did with her boots! She really seems to like them.
My boyfriend just got a Jeep. He said that we're gonna be going to Galveston a lot more because he loves beach life like I do. I also been looking in campers to take along with us. I plan on making an actual channel for our trips. Galveston is one of my favorite locations and I love the island. Loved this video 💖

Looked like great shrimp tacos to me and now I want some. Awesome water ride and a way to stay cool. Have always enjoyed farmers markets. Oh no booties. Historic Galveston and its architecture is the main reason we spend time there every year. Our favorite burger place is The Spot (go up-stairs thru the attic to the deck) also we're a fan of Shrimp N Stuff too!

Star is such a good girl. I've seen some hilarious dog reactions to booties. She took it stride. When Tom said it was hilarious in the. Beginning of the video, I was expecting something totally different. The first few steps in the rig were funny, but that was it! Good girl Star! Jayman...

Thanks! Our kayaks are Hurricane Santees. We really like them (just need to use them more often). The DEF system has been great. Tiffin put the DEF fill in a spot that is easy to use.

Star did great with the booties! We bought some of those for our dog, and it wasn't such an easy transition getting her used to them :)P

We stayed in Galveston for about 4 months over winter. Your video made us a little "homesick" for the island...will probably return this winter. We stayed at Stella Mare. May I ask if you prefer Jamaica Beach?
Hi Jim! We like Stella Mare also. Nice folks there and a clean park that’s very convenient to everything in Galveston. Jamaica Beach is a little more removed from the hustle and bustle of the town, but has some nice amenities like a putt-putt golf course, indoor hot tub & lazy river. It is family owned and operated. We like both parks.
Thanks for another great Galveston video. We leave tomorrow for a camping trip there. That Thursday Farmers Market looks interesting. Do you know if they allow dogs there? Couldn’t find anything about that from their website.

Have you tried the Cajun-Greek Seafood place? (Or Greek-Cajun?) That was my favorite to eat when my son and his family lived on The Island before Ike forced them to leave.

We stayed at Galveston for about a week they are a RV campground on the ocean right on it we cannot get remember the name of it we would like to book a campground down there stay for a week or two do you know the RV park that's on the ocean name and I love your show thank you

Those are Zeko Shoes. We bought ours early last year and we love them! Incredibly lightweight and perfect for pools, waterparks, fishing or kayaking. They have rubber soles and drains in the bottom. You can find them on Amazon: amzn.to/2LBqMyg .

We always enjoyed cruising out of Galveston. Haven’t done it in quite a few years now. But we will again one of thes days. So fun! Have a great time on your trip!
