    With all my heart, thank you for the great mosaic school. I love the mosaic and I am trying to create and I am grateful for the information and tools, how to use them, etc. Even though I do not even understand the language, they are the best tutorials. You are also too kind and sympathetic. Thanks Alexander from the Czech Republic.

      Because it's the universal language of craftsmanship that we all understand so well, no translation is really needed. ☺

    Love you work Caroline. Nice little “Filmette” as you call them, 😝 Tile quality really does count doesn’t it? I’ve used Johnson tiles before, no problem but many seem to crumble these days. Frustrating! Water absorbent or not, tiles are often a mystery at the builders reclamation yards! 😂

      Thanks Wendy! Yes different quality tiles need to be treated in different ways! Xx

    Just an idea... after cutting the circle I would smooth and round it off with fine/medium sandpaper. Thanks for sharing : )

    • @mangomosaics
      @mangomosaics  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sometimes i use sandpaper or a wire sponge. This is especially essential when working with vulnerable people who can easily cut themselves!

    Hi Caroline! Thanks for your video. Can you tell me what brand of nippers you are using?

    • @mangomosaics
      @mangomosaics  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheryl Butler hi Cheryl it's basically a side biter tile nipper. If you are in the USA you may find it at Home Depot. In the UK at Homebase or B&Q. Try also Mosaic Supplies Limited in uk... the link is below the video in the description 😊

      Hi Suzi, A quick answer is to take a look at my most recent filmette published yesterday. The description box has all the tools named. I prefer Nitras 8800 safety gloves 🥰

    COULD YOU PLEASE TELL THE NAME and BRAND of the TILE NIPPER USED and WHERE TO PURCHASE? TY!

    • @mangomosaics
      @mangomosaics  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vivian Wyrick the brand isn't important. But I do recommend a 20cm side biter with a carbide edge.

    I see from the other comment it’s a side biter but is there a brand you recommend? Also I’m a flight attendant and sometime get to the U.K. Where is your studio? I’d love to sign up if the timing works out. Thanks again! :)
