Finding this vid even now and seeing what I was annoyed with myself, the bounce of the spring retainer even seating it was why I always screwed in the buffer retainer bolt outside the lower. Although I got the basic version, I did a full rewire of everything recently and of course those mag terminal wires got a proper fix pretty much after it fell off on the first teardown when I got it years ago. Otherwise I can't fault this split box.
any idea on how to reinforce the rear to prevent damage and breakage in the rear?? Also what spring retainer would u recommend replacing that spring retainer with??? Have a Merry Christmas mate.. Dazza
Wow that's was sick... Soo good it's the victor so far.. Are u gonna try out the cyma and JG boxes in near future.. Still contenders out there to be tested.. But that was mad good one nice work.. Can't wait to see what else u come up with.. Keep it up bud..
Hi, this is a random question. Would u be willing to sell ur mk12 modded blaster. I would absolutely love to take it off your hands! Also I hope u have a great day 👍
It's so funny that you caught the upper breaking. Literally had the spring retainer burst out the end of mine last week. Same damage shown in your video.
@@lowguidoschopshop Thought i should let you know, gone through another one.. It lasted 2 weeks. Not sure what to do with this heap of junk. Reckon there is another spring retainer that will fit it better?
I can't help but think that the damage to the spring retainer in the beginning wouldn't have happened if it was supported the way it was designed to be. LDT aren't the oem for that box so if they are putting it in something that doesn't support the spring retainer or adding support for the spring retainer then that is the fault of LDT not the box or spring retainer design. The OEM intended that spring retainer supplied with the box to be supported that's why they put a thread in the spring retainer. Ultimately I'd be inclined to think the failure is user error.
I agree the damage was caused by the retainer moving. But there are so many blasters out there that don't have buffer tubes and the spring retainers *should* be able to support themselves without extra bracing.

Can you show how to upgrade rx desert eagle? I had trouble with that blaster.. cheers mate
You need a wells receiver for these tests because you charge the spring without taking the gearbox out of the receiver
All good I spoke to soon you sorted it with the plate on the back

Pretty good for a 150 dollar gearbox, they would have to be the cheapest cnc'd box available and pretty hard to kill
Where do you get gel blaster

yeah, I feel that some better engineering on the retainer could prevent this wear.

@@lowguidoschopshopI've had to drill a hole in my buttstock on my Acr just to hold a bolt in the screw retainer so YES I agree 🤣
