Welcome to the new fishing channel everyone! 🎣 Sorry for the fail of a first video, but I'll be back to the lake in the next day or so! I also broke off my whopper plopper... I was only using 10lb braid. I went ahead and spooled on 20lb. Should be much better! See y'all soon! Tight lines!

Hello! During winter I recommend something like a Texas rig or something that can get to the bottom, and work it slow, tight lines!

Yup, I was thinking I'd have to jig something.. I'll get out to the store soon. What weight do you recommend for the jig? 1/16? Thanks brother.

@@Mik3yDatAngler yeah 1/16 is usually a little light I find that 3/16 is a good weight for a lot of things, you can go down to 1/8 or up to 3/8 though

Glad to see a new member in the fishing community. In the winter, bass tend to slow down and move to deeper water where it’s warmer. They move a lot less and generally feed less. As a general rule use a technique that caters to the fish. In this instance, a suspending jerk bait, or ned rig could be affective. Keep it slow with lots of pauses

@@ezrawalsh2891 I got a Texas Rig I'm setting up currently. Going to hit the bottom nice and slow. I plan to do mostly inshore fishing on the channel but I'm brand new so you'll be seeing quite a bit of freshwater practice. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
