This was the second mini-series which played back to back over 3 consecutive nights. The mini-series was much better than the regular series that came after.
Chris Barber (Ham's sidekick) actually has a cameo in Total Recall as a martian miner on the train when Douglas Quaid lands on Mars.. He didn't have any scenes with Michael Ironside though..
Classic mate; thanks for sorting it.The impact on those troops of the combined chem 'n' lead onslaught is brutal - and I'm guessing (I didn't see it back in the day) their rank 'n' file consistently suffer heavy losses up until this point lol. Nice one!!
So bad and so good.... "3 degree left...."that's like 5 full turns I guess. Running and spraying and praying and no one reloads. Random dude in tree. High tech laser guys have the aim of storm troopers... But man I loved it when I was 8.
This is one of the most satisfying bad guy deaths I've ever seen in my life!!! 👏👏👏👏 This could very possibly be my favorite part of the whole V and V Final Battle saga!!! 👏👏👏👏
I remember this scene as a kid... very awesome... I wanted him to say something like I want my planet back you SOB or something... On a tactical note now that I know something about ground attacks.. the mortars should have blanketed the area especially the patio before the troops even came out of the woods... good thing the aliens shoot like stormtroopers in star wars but the rebels shooting full auto while their fellow guys are running in front of them was also a WTF that said Michael Ironsides never fails to bring his A game... We wont talk about highlander..
Ah. Classic. My favourite scene. Ham Tyler getting it done. Takes me back. Also, the red dust was one hell of a biological weapon. Rapid dispersal even beyond the physical cloud, more or less instant lethal effect. Species selectivity, too, at least at first. Sweet.
As soon as Steven saw those explosions of red smoke and heard all the screams of the troops in the surrounding area, he knew he was in trouble! He may not have known exactly what it was, but he knew it was bad news!
I think she was just a spineless coward and knew The Resistance was going to win that day and was looking out for herself and Stephen took her out in the end.
I don't understand how the rebels and the V forces all would purchase marksmanship training from Emperor Palpatines Stormtroopers. step 1, all firing done from hip step 2, close eyes step 3, when pulling trigger, wave gun back and forth etc etc
Ironside was the fucking man in this series. Love him here. Just so good. Never saw him do many interviews on this show. I wonder if he enjoyed it. He was perfect. I always thought he ran kinda funny but heard a story he had really bad knees for years.
Michael Ironside makes any film 100% better, because Michael Ironside is in it. You know, Scanners, Total Recall, Nobody? And btw, his run in V was as a bad ass guerrilla fighter. This sequence definitely shows that. And what a great action set piece! Looks a lot like it was shot at the producers house. ;p
Mike Donavan's mother was the character killed by Steven. Did Mike ever acknowledge what his mother had done or know of her end? What happened to Mike's father/stepfather?
One of those rare times when a Michael Ironside character doesn't lose a limb.
Sam Fisher kept all four of his.
or 2
@@oddish4352 I was actually thinking the same thing.
I remember this series as a kid. It was well done and you came back each week for it. Good times gone forever.
I loved this series too. Ironside was an absolute bad@$$ in this.

@@Billy-bc8pk if he was on your side, your side was kicking azz
New Mexico red chili powder used to do the same thing to me. Thanks
And now I want to rewatch this. Still one of the best sci-fi series from the 80s. The mini series was a big event.
Shot in the back while lying to save her own skin. Truly a Quisling's death.
Michael Ironside is such a wonderful actor !! and so was Andrew Prine 🙏!! Love the both of them 💖💖
When his character was introduced, I was like: "These aliens are in trouble now."
He's a weird dude though. He was adamant his character in Starship Troopers should have a romantic physical relationship with a bug...
Micheal ironside has the coolest name

Mickey Jones, RIP. He was in a few things together with Michael Ironside, Extreme Prejudice comes to mind, among others.
He also did appearances on Home Improvement as the crew of K&B Construction.
He was in the commercials for Kirby’s Big Adventure as well.
OMG. That only just now occurred to me
Was on Sanford show in 1980 also.
Badass. I haven't watched this since it originally aired on tv
"Now that's a waste of good luggage!"
Say goodnight hotshot…….a badass one liner from Ham Tyler
Ham Tyler………officially the toughest guy of the 1980’s!
The exact moment when the world loved Michael Ironside.
He usually plays a bad guy: it’s cool to see him play a good guy with a hard edge!
He remains the toughest guy for hundreds of years. You should see him when he later joins the Starship Troopers!
Poster guy for leather blazer and Jeans
Happy I met him!
1:52 "Say goodnight, hotshot."
Goodnight Hotshot!
Ham served him a sample of the new 11 Herbs and Spices.
Michael Ironside has awesome acting talent even when he plays the bad guy in movies too.
Could tell Ham enjoyed that-Steven had just killed his best friend’s mother.

One of the more satisfying death scenes in any franchise.
Ham Tyler is epic. Also the reason I still have a Leather Jacket like his in my wardrobe.
Ironside really adds a lot of stoicism to whatever role he was playing.

At first, but then they made it useless. Good job too, it was too much of a deus ex machina.
@@Foebane72 Considering the humans already knew how to make it non lethal to the aliens, it was a one of weapon.
Ham Tyler doesn’t do push-ups! He does EARTH-DOWNS!! EVEN CHUCK NORRIS, Sarah Palin and Wonder Woman FEAR Ham Tyler!!

Great series as a kid growing up
Me too loved it! I think I cheered when I first saw hotshot getting it!!😂😂😂
The rare “good guy Michael Ironside” sighting!
The Visitors clearly trained at Storm Trooper academy
Filmed at ‘The Villa’ in Sierra Madre, California. A beautiful building and its unique history.
I always liked the traveling shot of the alien swastika carpet
I didn´t think about it when I was a kid. I saw the show again this year, and the first think I said is "what a nice place..."
Officially super cool! Michael Ironside was definitively an '80s badass.
Thanks for posting this, have been looking for this clip for a longtime
Always was one of my favorite moments in the mini series. Tyler and Donovan were my two favorite characters in V.
Eleanor betrayed humans and family. Good!!!
Yes....she id a serpent
She got what she more than deserved 😂😂such poetic ironic way🫠killed by same nighcrawler she betrayed her race 2
Think in this she was trying to aid the resistance, and finally showing some goodness-sadly right before she died.
I think she was just a spineless coward and knew The Resistance was going to win that day and was looking out for herself and Stephen took her out in the end.
@@Atomykpimp Very true... It was so ironic and poetic 😊😊 She betrayed her race to her boyfriend. And he thus betrayed her😇
No offence to Mark Singer, but Michael Ironside was the real star of that show.
💯, those alien invaders messed with Lieutenant Radzik from _Starship Troopers_ !
He should have gone Full Darryl Revok from Scanners on the Visitors.
holy shit ,it's viper!
your out of there kid!

See you at the party Steven
40 years since i watched It, here in spain. And i am watching this clip, and i recall al the faces, all the actors.
And this is why hip firing is so OP in games.its all V’s fault.
I remember playing paintball after watching this series. It didn't go well.
The resistance was effed before Ham Tyler showed up
That happens to me when I spill paprika on my face....
Ha! This mansion has been used on mostly horro flicks so many times!
😎
I feel just like those guys by eating some red chili peppers, gives me some indigestion burning sensation
In the event of alien lizard invasion, add a pinch of paprika.
Little cayenne to boot. Really make those lizards feel it.
It says Steven bite the dust, yes it is actually the red dust. Ham Tyler said Say good night hot shot .
Would have been funny if there Was a pre “ They Live” moment with Eleanor and Steven where they’re being intimate and she see’s his true form.

Michael Ironsides was such a badass in this series.
Michael Ironside still acts today. He ain't stopping.
Just feels right to watch Ironside be cooler than the other side of the pillow while watching lizard people's faces melt off.
One of the best.
I love this actor 😁
those fleeing leaders where were they headed to? some timeshare in Florida swamps? lolz they looked like drug dealers on the run
At 1:33, is the Visitor running with Steven the same one whose face was first revealed by Donovan?
Michael Ironside! One of the greatest.

Ham Tyler and Chris Farber the ultimate badasses
They should have kept the weird voices in the longer TV series.
They missed such a golden opportunity with a V/A-Team crossover. 😅
Funny thing is ironside was in an episode of the A team.
На видео кассетах он назывался Люди - динозавры. На ОРТ в 1999 году почему-то обозвали ЗВ. Но шел и по другим названием Знак Победы.
