A great supplement to that idea of bent notes á la stamp is a warm up from Bill Bing and also a book by Mick Hesse called “perfecting your practice for peak performance” I would recommend it to anyone struggling to keep the intonation steady throughout the registers.
Not everyone wants to try and do everything on the trumpet. Some prefer to do one style correctly and not sound mediocre playing stuff they aren't as good at or think they sound good at. There are plenty of specialists making decent money so the Baroque broke comment doesn't hold much water. Entertaining video though. Just realize that quasi classical playing may get one through a studio gig but it wouldn't get you a job in the Vienna or Berlin Philharmonic section. The same logic applies to any venue of playing. Stick to what you do unless you're just doing it for money.
The world would be a better place with more videos like this, great trumpet players chatting, trumpet talking and playing.
