For anyone wondering about "revolutionary roman empire" it was unintended. Overextension, two negative stab events, coalition war, and revolution disaster, and zero manpower all happening within two years.

Is Milan possibly your favorite starter to form Rome for gameplay mechanics or roleplay reasons?
I think starting out, Castile/Aragon and the Ottomans have the best chance to form Rome, if the Ottomans convert to orthodox. With Byzantium sure it’s historical continuity but any tag can form Rome and Byzantium is unique so it’s kind of a waste IMO.
I’m not sure which of the Mediterranean starters is the best Roman successor roleplay wise and if it’s possible to revive “Ancient Roman culture” in the 1500-1600s

i just did Milan bc its more of a challenge. Aragon and France imo are the best.

Wow the flag for the revolutionary Roma empire is kinda fire not going to lie. Also how the fuck did the commonwealth become revolutionary in 1560? How?

Why rush when his goal is Roman Empire? You should try playing with less urgency, it's more relaxing
