That new building in the background of the visitors center parking lot, is the new museum, paid for through donations from a private foundation, that is not even open yet. That museum is one of the main reasons they closed the Fort Hood Stables where Soldiers and Retirees could stable their privately owned horses for a reasonable fee. Ft. Hood, home of the Third Corp, symbolized by an armored warrior mounted horseback, Home to 1st Cavalry Division, whose shoulder patch has a horse head logo, Home to 3rd Cavalry Regiment, whose history dates from the horse cavalry era. Even with all that history regarding the military and horses, they can't find a way to keep a stables for Soldiers and Soldiers Familys open. But they are going to waste taxpayers dollars re-naming Ft. Hood, simply pathetic and hypocritical. Forcing Soldiers to get an untested vaccine or get kicked out. The Army has gone completely stupid woke!
