Hello and thank you for such a great video and demonstration of the Geleisen. I purchased the 750w version of this e bike and i must say its been amazing so far. Top speed has been 27.6 mph and a average of 24 to 25. I want to buy another battery of the same 48v but get a higher ah. Can i do this safely without damaging any of the electrical components? Also can i change the brakes to hydraulic for better braking? Would really appreciate your feedback and hope to hear from you soon. Again thanks for having fun with all of us.
Yes As long as the voltage is the same you can increase the AH without any issues but you will need to make sure the battery is the same design and size to fit in the frame of this bike. And yes you could always upgrade to hydraulic brakes.
Hi JM. Apparently the quality control for the Lectric 2.0 is fairly awful as well. I took my 2.0 to the (the first) bike shop to get everything adjusted and long story short, the SECOND bike shop found that the frame is bent - which is why the first shop couldn't get the brakes adjusted. I just talked to my mechanic so I will have more information when I pick it up. I am really disappointed with this 2.0. He also said that the suspension fork is one used on children's bikes! Aggghhh. Good review on the Geleisen. Keep up the good work.
If you received it this way just reach out to Lectric and I’m sure they will make it right because they have been known for excellent customer service and this may have happened in shipping.
I get upto 32 mph just using throttle only flat ground! Maxed out at 37.8 mph down hill throttle only however up hill not so good not to much power throttle only not a huge hill it will only get 9 to 13 mph depends on the incline of the hill! But I really like it!

I am loving this bike,I fooled around with the controller and I think I accidentally took off the Limiter that keeps it down to 20mphnow this thing is really fast I had it in 4th pedal push and the Speed amateur read 30mph I felt that was fast enough so I didn't Bother to go to 5th. The range on this bike is great I have yet to run the battery down by much. My Wife and I went to Acadia national park with this bike ,if any of you have biked this park you know about the hills there, this bike went up those hills like nothing this thing is a beast. I'm not kidding.

Great video as usual. I wonder if the quietness of the motor is due to the motor being well made or the motor controller being good quality? I actually like that the motor controller they sent you only had 5 or so connections. The controller does seem to have an option to add throttle assist in any pedal assist level. Paragraph 8.6.2 of the Yolintech YL80C manual kinda goes over it in Chinglesh. I don't have a bike to test it out, though. Having name brand lithium cells is a big feature as well as the added capacity. Lectric used to use name brand cells. Having the bigger 4.0 tires is a feature that would appeal to heavier riders. I am considering this bike, the Lectric XP 2.0 and the Engine EP-2 750 to purchase as a second bike that I can take camping. They all can be bought today for less that $1000. The Engwe seems to have many TH-cam videos of people who are having problems with the engine controller (mostly) but is otherwise a solid bike. It would be better with some name brand lithium cells but replacement batteries are cheap. The Lectric XP-2 would be nice if it had a bigger capacity battery with name brand cells and 4.0 inch tires. The Geleisen seems to be still untested but checks most boxes except for customer service presence in the US.

I am a new rider and bought this bike used (4 months old) but I cannot find this company anywhere on the Internet as I need a copy of the manual and want to be able to get parts support in the future. No I have not had any problems with mine. What is the voltage of your battery when it is fully charged? Maybe the settings in your display are not adjusted correctly?

The only thing I don't like about it is the rims I don't like spoke rims on a fat tire bike I rather mag wheels but that Samsung battery is a major plus tho..I rather get this bike than the lectric 2.0
I like all these randos crying about this bike. Mine was fine. Considering it climbs through Pittsburgh, PA and our uncomfortable hills just fine. I didn't have any problems with shipping other than a bolt and nut. OH NO! Like shopping at Ikea. Mines great a bit heavy, oh well, to the gym. If you aren't going to spend a ton on a bike. Then buy it off Amazon, I mean really. If you want something super. Go to a bike shop. Then don't expect a grade A. Get over yourselves and figure yourselves out. I'd like to know. If you found the overrides, can I connect to Bluetooth (that is always a B) There is an option for the fenders. Go get them powder coated or have them covered with the protective film. You can find it all over Amazon and the web. It even comes in a spray. Cover the entire bike in it. You get what you pay for (or is given to you) you see it and the reviews. It's always up to you.

The good thing is that it didn’t take long for them to send me one and it does have a nice 14 amp hour battery and 4” Fat tires which are 2 of the main benefits over the Lectric. If they can straighten out the quality control issues it might be a good competitor if you don’t need the higher speed of the Lectric.
yup, if everything comes as expected, it could be a ok value, i replaced the seat and gave it a suspension post for my lectric xp, so i suspect most people will do the same. one nice thing i noticed that the lectric doesn't the ability to adjust the controller in speeds or power level per pas level, that would be really nice to have. but i use the throttle to get going a lot so i would consider throttle in all pas levels to be a necessity, and i really wish my lectric had it in pas 0 as well. thanks again for your great videos.
The slower speed is only because of the speed limit on the LCD display and the motor. There are usually 3 reasons for the speed limit: ①Reduce the loss of the motor gear; ②Protect the rider from injury due to too fast; ③Some states in the United States The law stipulates that the speed of electric vehicles shall not exceed 20MPH, otherwise the rider will need to obtain a driver’s license. In addition, the Geleisen 4.0 fat tire is equipped with a 500W powerful motor and a 14ah Samsung battery. The price is only $1059.99. No matter from which aspect, it is more powerful than XP 2.0. Maybe you should learn some knowledge about electric bicycles before commenting.

Reminds me many moons ago I went out on a test drive of a new car and it overheated during the drive. Needless to say, I bought something else.
Yes they did send it to me for review as well as another model that you can see in the livestream unboxing I did a few days ago. I was definitely surprised. One thing that amazes me tho is how quiet the motor is.
If the best thing you can say about it is that the motor is quite, then it's a fail. Very little customer support, cryptic instructions, lack of features, and then price. I think you would be better off with the Lectric.

Maybe you don't know too fast speed will accelerate the wear of motor gears, thereby reducing the life of the motor. Also it is not safe. Most of people like the full throttle mode and they can full enjoy it.

Put it in one of the pas levels and it should work. If not check the connection up by the handlebars it may have came unplugged.

So basically this is a slower, less powerful, rebranded XP using surplus EX parts after LECTRIC upgraded to the 2.0 . Sounds about right to me.
But with a bigger better battery and front suspension with 4” tires

2 strikes against it, I like to have the throttle avail at any PAS in case you need a quick surge of speed.
