Nigerians in Nigeria will not appreciate this bill until they see what many Nigerians abroad face with payment of VAT!

Hello Mr Taiwo.Welldone sir for great work.I want to suggest that you collaborate with Nigeria orientation agenies, translate this tax bills into hausa,Yoruba and igbo landuage.then get a section in NTA and some northern and southern TV to tell people about the bills for few days.its can be a record explanation for about 20 minutes.I observe that norther politician are deliverately poison the mind of northerner agains the bills.they keep tell them that all derivative will go to lagos and ogun because you and tinubu are yoruba.some of them lack knowledge Its will be if you can engage the citizen that way.thank you sir.

Anything he says "is going to the state 100%" is the derivation aspect which by inference more populous states and states where businesses are headquartered get an unfair chunk.
Stamp duty for instance...... imagine what Lagos will make compared to Osun or Cross River, as against collecting it for equal distribution to Stats and LGs.
Tax volumes and remittances is directly related to numbers/population.
When BAT said "we should widen the tax net" he wasn't playing.
In all of this, this town hall meeting should have preceded the transmission of the bill to NASS. And clearly like Mr Taiwo and Hon Dogara admitted, there are ambiguities and gray areas that must be ironed out.
I wish us all the best.
    Nigeria will work!!

2:30 ''Our colonial MASTERS''???? Are you kidding me? You're still calling them ''masters''' 60+ plus years after they left? You're a disgrace, Nigeria. It was THEY who made you call them by such a term. THEY'VE NOW LEFT, so decolonise your minds. Use appropriate terms such as 'colonial invaders' or 'colonial rulers', or 'colonial usurpers'. Have some dignity.

Nigerians should call upon Senator Ali Ndume to present his own version of the Tax Reform Bill so that the people can compare and contrast because change is inevitable. It is part of human evolution.
What transforms a man from medieval to modern is change. I can't really understand why Nigerians are always afraid of change.

This man needs to be asked what EXACTLY they want to do with TETFUND.
He needs to answer specific questions .
TETFUND must not be touched. It is a huge support to our universities.
ASUU should speak up before it's too late.

A nicely explained policy however nass will still collect kickback from the agency in-charge of collecting this tax just like how they did with fuel subsidy.
I know nothing can be done to stop this reform.

What they hate about tte bill is that no more stealing via different govt agency like NIMASA, Customs e.t.c. as all govt monies will now be collected by one agency which make stealing very difficult. This is a guide for the future if our xountry.
