I have a serious question that I would appreciate an answer to. I'm new to collecting figures, and I want to know if they'll restock these? It's been awhile and I really want some of these figures. I don't want to pay the scalpers though. Just the OG Spider-Man is over $100 5x the price. Does Hasbro normally restock their figures or are these a limited run? I'd so that's kinda stupid. They would make a killing off of these of they kept the molds and figures coming. Why would they not restock these? Is it because of Covid or just a marketing ploy?
Great question, think of every release as a series or limited run. Every collectible company tends to approach this way. Unfortunately this first run of retro figures already came and went, although every now and then one sprouts up (I found a gwen stacy a couple of weeks ago). Plus, the fewer there are, the higher the demand. I don't necessarily agree with this approach, but every business wants to create high demand for their products, and instead of burning them out with oversaturating the market with the same figures, they release a new wave to keep things fresh. It is common for Marvel Legends to reissue a popular figure with new paint and/or packaging from time to time

@@howie3601 Search your local toy stores too. I just found a kingpin in my town for a cheap price at my local toy store along with mysterio. They also had others like Gwen Stacy & jj too. I might have to go back for that jj
just bought this retro spider man ,the cyborg, black cat, and the negative for $160 + 10 tax & shipping, so basically $45 each for 4 . was the best way to get my hands on a retro spiderman . & im probably going to sell the negative man & the black cat & the cyborg to make some of my money back
