Wow. I never realized just how complex this song actually is. After watching you deconstruct it, I can hear all the layers in the song I never heard before. Thanks!

Superb job and please keep doing as many Deconstructions as possible! There are several great suggestions in the comments so far.
I’ve been watching Dr Mix for a few months, and at first, I thought Claudio was just a fun and whacky dude. He made me laugh with his uber-enthusiastic vibe. ...but then, I realize Claudio is one wonderful musician, with a love and respect for the music and the musicians who create that music. These vids are real lessons in style and mixing. Claudio brings the FUN! Claudio, your love of music is beautiful and infectious. Blessings on you, man.

Goosebumps when you were tuning the MOOG to the track. That was when it clicked, just how dead on accurate this vid would be! Killer work as always, Doc!
The fact that you were so excited when dragging that 5th down made me laugh uncontrollably (in a good way). I had so much fun watching this, and have subscribed to your channel
Sandstorm is one of the most iconic tracks ever... everything you said might as well have been in Mandarin but listening to the layered progression to mimic the original track was incredible.
I could swear I recall reading a number of years ago that Darude created the lead by heavily overdriving a TB303 patch. Anyway it sounded pretty close!
I've had the actual session. This would be a bit more difficult than the Thriller one considering it used some actual strings, horns, some rare Synclavier disks that don't exist anymore, the bass was a processed and sampled muted piano and two Synclavier basses.
There are certain songs from all different genres that are pure genius-that survive the test of time: Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Bohemian Rhapsody, Stairway to Heaven to list a few. This song definitely belongs on that list!

I am a drummer and few other instruments player, playing with band and my imagination about music was always like having particular sound by actual physical movement by you in real time. One of my favourite EDM classics. However, I had never really understood what was going on until you demonstrated it in this video. Any chance you could give Ecuador the same treatment?
Ecuador! That would be great, it's such a masterpiece. But I'm not sure it would be as interesting as deconstructing sandstorm, "technically speaking" - Ecuador is way more "pop/classic", and the sounds are probably more from digital synths presets. I may be wrong thought!😄
