Thank you for this guide, explained much. I do have one unrelated question if you don't mind answering: How is your UI scaled like that? Is it because it's 4k?
Do weapons have a requirement before becoming Erg Weapons? Or at any erg rank? Also, from your personal preference which weapons you decided to level up as Erg, already R6/7 wiyh r1 reforges only?
No, you can erg any weapon* out of the box. It can get as much erg as you have resources to feed into it. I erg every weapon I use to at least 5, if not 10. I only heavily invest (20+) in erg for weapons I plan to keep for a while. I only shoot for 50 with end game weapons like revenant or perseus or the new bows and staves. Haven't gotten one to 50 yet. /Some weapons cannot receive erg at all, such as Merlin's Shyllien Mana Knuckles.
Your voice volume has definitely improved from your videos a couple years ago. Thanks for taking the time to make guides for stuff like this. What do I do with my old school spirit weapon?
Probably convert it to the new type. The only ones people don't convert are healing wand egos, but you'd had to have it before since you can't get the classic type now.
Mabinogi has a quality system during crafting. For Blacksmithing and Tailoring the quality is based on how well you perform at the minigame and other effects you have active such as quality potion, enchants (such as Steady and Daunting), active grandmaster talent, Monday +2 quality bonus, skill rank, titles(?), and reforges (accessories and the tool). For Magic Craft and Engineering, the quality is a random roll, unaffected by most of the effects mentioned except for titles, skill rank, and quality potion. Quality for Engineering and Magic Craft only increases the minimum possible roll and not the maximum. Blacksmithing and Tailoring Quality is based on performance in the minigame (1-100 based on how close you click to the exact pixel of the marks) and adds your quality bonus to the end result. You get a signature if you have a quality above 80%, or for Engineering/Magic Craft if you roll a max roll on one or more stats there is a chance to sign. Hopefully that isn't too confusing... Basically with all the modifiers it feels like a 50/50 chance you'll sig with Magic Craft or Engineering or a 30% chance without modifiers, and if you're good at the minigame you can brute force Blacksmithing and Tailoring sig.
Haha yeah that clears it up, I was mainly just trying to figure out what it meant by sig I figured it meant like crafted but I wasn’t sure. The extra info definitely helped!
It's pretty common to ask peeps who are good at crafting to do it for you. I'd be careful who you hand over materials to, but there's a good amount of trustworthy crafters out there. It doesn't have to be your signature on the item, just *a* signature.
Erg cannot be transferred between weapon types. Transference Catalysts only allow erg from one weapon to be moved onto another weapon of the same category. Even Bows and Crossbows are considered different weapon types for this. There is only 1 route for erg for each weapon. If you're asking about sacrifice materials, I'm not sure I can help much. The item would need to be a 2h Axe. Below is a list of 2H Axes. wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Category:Two-Handed_Axes Checking the AH for 2H axes, buying them from an NPC, or gathering materials and crafting them yourself, are basically the only options. I'm not sure which 2H axe are usable for erg sacrifice and which are not... I'd guess the Warrior Axe is a good sacrifice material from an NPC.
I thought about it, but logging on a giant and doing the tutorial just so I can get broken logs sounded gross since I play only on elves (personal choice, nothing against giants) so I decided to use my massive storage of ghost fluid instead. I mentioned the broken log method in the vid, so I really don't see the need to go out of my way when I already have the fluid.
There really isn't one. Trinity staves, Hermit staves, original sin staves, celtic druid staves... All of them require some effort to get. --We were supposed to get an update where Stewart sells Trinity staves, but we never got it. I don't know who delayed that update or decided not to include it, but I've been asking where it's at for a while now.-- Edit: We have the update. Trinity staves at Stewart or some other magic weapon shops.
thank you that explain stuff pretty well, I just came back on Mabinogi and people are too strong

Basically, yes. I run the game at 2k res.

Haha I know it’s a bit late but what does it mean by signed (item name) does that mean I have to craft it myself?

whats the easiest way to erg two-handed axe? also can i transfer erg from sword to axe?

Why ghost swords? Get on a giant alt and get logs from trees in vales. Then just use those with shop reforges to get the 2-3 liners.

so i am working on doing erg for my divine blade. What do you recommend using as a handaxe to break the lvl 10 erg
One handed axe? I don't know many, but I know the celtic battle axe works. There may be cheaper options.

@@Fierlyt it has to be red upgraded once before right? Like the celtic axe
whats a good way to do staffs?
