In a shocking twist of events, Bowser kidnaps Peach inside her own castle. Mario shows up and rains on Bowser's parade by collecting all 120 stars and winning in record time.
Numerous bugs are exploited in order to speed up Mario's progress and the physics engine is abused to its fullest.
This is an improvement of 09:04.17 over the previous movie (tasvideos.org/850M) by Rikku.

+1fun377 You can also build up speed _much_ faster with BLJs (in a matter of frames. The slope method is used to build up speed in ABC because it's impossible to BLJ without A.

Dude... That 8 red coins run at Bob-omb battle field was the best. Glitched across the entire map then flew around the entire map then was collecting the star before it could even register.
I just love that little touch at the end with mario staring at us/the sky.

The point of a TAS is that it does what you input every time...
Rerecords are a thing in tas I hate to break it to you guys. You still have to map out the inputs and reset if you mess up a single frame.

MrDavidosss Mario BLJ'd to gain a lot of negative speed, then just slid around on the ground.
Ok. He BLJ'd alot , but how to do it though? I tried doing it how I remembered, and it did not work. Do I have to TAS it or can I actually do it non-TAS?
MrDavidosss Hold Z and press A a bunch of times to Long Jump. Then start holding towards Mario's back. Then spam A as fast as you can while still holding Z. While you are doing this, Mario should be going backwards up stairs or a slope. It's doable non-tas. Platform BLJing is much harder.

This game still holds up for being 24 years old. It's definitely one of those Mario games you could 'lose' yourself in. I like the idea of jumping into pictures in order to activate the action. Thanks for the upload.
Have you played Mario Odyssey? After you complete the game you can jump through paintings to have a rematch against some bosses. I've also heard the level design is similar, although I haven't played Mario 64 myself unfortunately, something I hope to change one day.
