Sir, i have a doubt. in case of left tailed test, Z(alpha) is negative.. and while comparison we always take |Z| which is positive. means |Z| will always be greater than Z(alpha) leading to out null hypothesis always wrong. What to do in that case. I have been following your statistics series from the start. and I forgot to text this on your previous video so I am doing in this one. please clarify this
Sir how can I find whether the alternate is 2 tailed or one tailed in question itself...? I saw your all videos can you please please tell me in simple words or a trick

Sir why havent we taken the alternative hypothesis over here as P=/=0.04 (Two tailed test) Note: I saw your first video but still couldnt understand this

but in the binomial distribution we use the power of Q is n-x
it is Q^(n-x) not Q = n-x..... Q = 1 - P not 1-x

Relax gaayss wo wha par 0.008 h koi naa aage bado jisse divide kiya h
Q-2 How the population proportion of female became 3/5+3 = 0.375.
Didn't get it. ?
Kindly help me out.🙏
Proportion is 5:3 males:females
that is if there are 5 males , there will be 3 females
if there are 5x males, there will be 3x females
Total number of people will be
5x+3x = 8x
Now, we want to find the proportion that is the % of females, therefore it will be number of females / total number of people
= 3x/5x+3x =
3x/8x = 3/8 = 0.375
3 out of the total(5+3) 8 are females. so the % of females is 3/n * 100
