    Steve Allan’s L2 LIST . . .
    1. Make a point to deliberately not mention that the authorised EDgun UK dealer is Graham Denney.
    2. Recommend it’s better pay extra to buy abroad.
    3. Start by saying the sub-12 won’t work unless it’s had the “right work done by the right people,” then repeat all the inherited misleading errors of how NOT to tune the Leshiy 2 for best performance, accuracy and shot count.
    My dear Steve, we met at last years Northern Shooting Show where I introduced you to my boss Eduard Gafarov . . . and I thought you was likeable chap and a genuine bloke. It’s not my intention to embarrass you, Steve, however, there are so many red-herrings and technological contradictions in your enthused review, it would take me some hours to formulate an antithesis of your well-meaning attempt to please your viewers.
    I say ‘well-meaning’ Steve, because, clearly you show Good Will to the EDgun brand, which of course, I welcome. And you go out of your way to pile praise upon praise for your favoured dealer abroad, which again is your rightful prerogative, and I’m sure deservedly. You will forgive me then if I choose to not invest my time to afford you the education - point by point - to more properly correct your misguided review, as you have equally gone out of your way to ‘blank’ me as the EDgun UK dealer.
    And I’m sorry to say, Steve, you deliberately omitted to include me on your LIST even after our recent correspondence that politely reminded you of my official position. Whether or not you chose to blank me out of your LIST because I had the audacity to invite you to contact me for a free consultation on how to better understand the technological peculiarities of the Leshiy 2, or simply out of sheer bloody-minded spite, I guess is a mute point now that you’ll join the ranks of the know-alls and never be the wiser.
    For up-to-date info on the EDgun Leshiy 2 phenomenon. Viewers are invited to visit EDgun UK's recently updated FB post:
    'The method, don't you see . . . is unsound.'

      I need to reply to this properly
      1. You did not introduce me to Ed, I had him on my list to interview and I seeked him out. You were just there, so stop biging yourself u, I barely remember you. You may have tried to act as a chaperon, but trust me it was not needed.
      2. I give a link to people where there can buy a rifle, that is up to me. Also there were multiple disclaimers and warning on the video. Stop complaining because you were not invited to the cool kids party. It was your fault for being an ass on Airgunology and accusing me of many things. See point 7. I would never recommend someone / dealer who is so rude to their potential customers.
      3. The right work was done in my opinion by my dealer to get to sub 12 and I and many others are happy.
      4. I have no obligation to mention you, Are you my mentor, employee or mother ?
      5. When I wanted a L2, I searched around, googled and Edgun Spain came up. At the time I did not know it was Spain and I pinged an email. They replied courtesy and they got my money. They even suggested I went to you, but after seeing your rants on FB, I decided to go with Spain
      6. So you suggest the wrong things are done to the L2, but refuse to mention what they are, another rant an nothing to back it up to potential customers. I have tried finding the FB post you mention and can't find it. BTW, i know the changes you have done to the L2 and even congratulated your customers after this video was released.
      7. You never contacted me with regards to a L2 as I went direct to Spain. See point 5. When you saw I had one, you were EXTREMELY RUDE and ACCUSED me of many things on MY FB GROUP and this was BEFORE I launched this video. Why would I even contemplate speaking to you after that. I should have banned you, but I took the wiser approach and ignored you and let you shoot yourself in the foot with your accusations and rants.
      The way you have treated your potential customers on FB, by telephone over the last few months is TRULY SHOCKING. All of these posts are for people to see on my FB group when you decided to publically get into a rant with a customer on Airgunology I have even had 4 potential customers asking me directly what the crap you were doing and them telling me that you had told them to basically f off and you did not want them as a customer. I must have missed that part of the "how to win customers" training course.
      Then there was the rant about the L2 being unsafe and needing a recall. This is from a Edgun dealer claiming his rifle was unsafe ? Yes you saw sense and deleted it eventually. The only unsafe thing about the L2 at the time, was you and your complete unprofessionalism
      I have basically kept out of the infighting between you, other Edgun dealers and your potential customers, but enough is enough and you have pissed me off therefore THIS POST IS PINNED FOR ALL TO SEE.

      When making a point about educating someone and using derogatory terms in that regard, it is always more effective and indeed treated as more valid if the correct language is used by the so called educator. It is ‘moot point’, not ‘mute point’. Your recourse to attack this reviewer in this manner, for doing what he is fully within his remit to do, leads me to believe it is better to take my business elsewhere and have no dealings with you, as is the right of any customer. Your actions should also be referred with reference to your continuing dealership rights.

    Question for you, Steve: The “Technical data” on page 7 of the Leshiy 2 manual lists the “Rail incline” as 0.5, but it doesn’t state what the unit of measurement is, whether it’s degrees or mm (as in a 0.5 degree angle from horizontal, or alternatively a 0.5mm vertical drop measured over the 180mm length of the rail). Do you happen to know?
    If the rail incline is 0.5 degrees, that would make it a 31.4 MOA rail. If the rail incline is 0.5mm, that would make it a 10 MOA rail. I asked Francisco, but he wasn’t sure.

    • @airgunology
      @airgunology  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      .22 takes less air than a .177 for same power. Therefore if you are swapping barrels, you will need to change the regulator (easy to do) to get the correct power. Important if you are legally limited on power like uk sub 12ftlb laws.

  • @heathhalfhill6867
    @heathhalfhill6867 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Is it that hard to get a FAC in your country? I’m in the USA and was thinking about the firing system on the Ed Gun in comparison to my LCS SK-19 and thinking mine would be near impossible to make in a sub 12 for the UK market. I am a 3rd Gen gunsmith- NOT!!! an airgun smith, but I am learning...I could easily be wrong, but if possible, would also be legal in the UK if it were sub 12 rifle. I would think a FAC is as easy to get as a carry permit is here. Pass a background check, pay your 20$ and away you go. Your good for 5 years. Yes...I have watched you video with Tony from Daystate talking about this subject, and UK laws but...I’m sorry if I missed it...is it really that difficult to get an FAC in the UK?

    • @airgunology
      @airgunology  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is not as easy as USA where firearms are normal life. Here you have to have a reason, be vetted and visited by the police and if you are lucky, you can get a FAC.

      I know these comments are old but I am in the USA also, was wondering the same thing about the fac license, it's too bad that you guys could not get a politician on your side to try to relax some of the fac rules considering air guns, like as long as you are a Law Abiding adult Citizen with a clean record that you could be trusted with a full power air rifle, As I think myself if I lived over there I probably wouldn't bother spending that much money on a sub 12 rifle, I know it's probably been tried but maybe could start a petition and you could possibly get one of the politicians on your side to help you with the fight for at least those minimal rights, even here in the USA in 2023 ATF is trying to take our rights away bit by bit , seems you give them an inch they want to take a mile, but anyway good review and I am going to subscribe to your Channel,

      For some, it is about the hobby and owning it. I tend to agree that our UK sub 12 laws are a pain, but them are the laws and if I want a rifle, I have to follow them if I am not FAC. The same could be said for most of the rifles made as they are all castrated for UK (and other countries) sub 12 laws. It would be very boring hobby if I only stuck to rifles made for sub 12 only. May as well take up air soft or nerf guns.

    Please don’t take any offense to this, but if you don’t know anything about these air guns, why is it that you have a channel doing airgun reviews? You don’t know anything about the regulator you don’t know anything about really much of anything as far as the internals of the gun, you’re just showing how it shoots, and the most basic things that there are to an air gun, so what exactly is the point of this channel? I have a channel where I not only show the entire internals of the guns, but how to machine your own parts. So, like I said, it’s not meant to be offensive, but if this is not your thing, and you don’t understand it, why not find some thing that you do?

    Avoid this POS 2023 buyer
    The gun Jammed and would not open or unlock, form cocked stance. Needed to be disassembled.
    In first time
    Out of the box,
    It would Dry and faulty fire, again when filled and fresh out of the box
    After 3 8 shot rounds
    It not fill at all. It took many attempts. Then finally, when filled the Cartridge / air canister twisted and bent, when filled to 246 bar, the canister and stock butt twisted and would not fire / at all, rendering the gun a complete hunk of useless junk.
    The company are delayed in response, flippant in their response quality and simply blame the user and will not review the $3.5k USD one month old purchase.
    This gun and product line are an entire scam and waste of your time and money, avoid the Edgun Leishy 2 9mm

      For some, not for others. I want a Ferrari, but they are too expensive. Doesn't mean I don't think they are great cars and should be disregarded to all.
