Joni Gommo: An Angel at my Door

At 14, mourning the death of her beloved grandfather, Joni had an angel knock on her door to prove to her there is no death, and that every blade of grass seemingly has a soul. A career in hospice nursing and Reiki healing - even of dogs - was the result of that visit.

When my dad died of cancer he had been unconscious for a day or so… he opened his eyes and said “ where have I been, where have I been?” I know now he was on the other side. Also, I had several dreams after he passed where I would see him, and knew I was dreaming so I would say that I knew I would wake up soon and then hug him and cry and tell him how much I loved him.

Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing these beautiful experiences with us.
I have not had a NDE (like Lee said - don’t want to get that close in order to have one…and when I go I don’t want to be sent back 😊) but I have had my own unique unexplainable experiences that I too keep close and share only with certain people who I get the feeling could benefit from hearing it.
I also remember at 13 being with my 27 year old neighbor as he was dying (during the very early 90’s and in the height of AIDS within the gay male population especially) and he got this huge grin and pointed to the corner of the room and asked me if I saw the angel. It still makes me emotional as he was suffering with dementia at that time and didn’t even hardly ever say anything. I just felt compelled to be there with him and sit with him when I could. I believe he did indeed see an angel. I look forward to my time with the angels, my deceased loved ones, that beautiful heaven you described (and similar to how others have described) and most of all my Love of all Loves…my creator. But I am content to be here for awhile longer and help others as much as possible just like you, Joni. Many blessings to you.

Joni bounced around in Christianity, but all religions need to be explored to find what truths and/or malarkey they possess and Teach. Religion is crowd control. Great interview, thank you.
