I traveled backpacking around 14 cities of Europe, but made sure I left Paris for last. I wasnt dissapointed. I loved Prague, but Paris stole my heart. C'est une ville d'une beauté indescriptible.
It's so weird watching this, I just barely got back from Paris a week ago. But it was quite pretty. In the daytime, I thought the Eiffel Tower was alright, but lit up it looks awesome.
Hmm, not really, like everything built for universal expositions, the Tour Eiffel was a technologic demonstration, so were the atomium in Bruxelles and crystal palace in england. But I'm really happy they decided not to destroy it after the end of the universal exposition.
Beautiful. And yet, in this and the Arch de Triomphe, only the French could build something so lacking in function! (Okay so there's a radio mast but that was added decades later)
