I am old student from 1953 to 1957. Moved to England. My principal was Professor Ghulam Sarwar. I have very pleasant memories of my stay. I worked there as Physics demonstrator under Principal Ghulam Sarwar from 1958 to 1961. I introduced world class Artistes in West including Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Alam Lohar, Shaukat Ali, Sabri Brothers, Atta Ullah Khan Esakhailvi, Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali, Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi. Hadeeqa Kiyani & many more. This is all because of my Degree from this college.
I’m very impressed by yourwonderful thoroughly researched & informative documentar about Zamindar College, Gujrat. College has served communities from not only Gujrat but students from surrounding districts Jhelum, Sargodha, Gujranwala & many more. Anwar Masood was Gen. Sec. of College Student Union. I have very fond memories of my stay at the college. I only got my degree & opportunity only because of this college otherwise I couldn’t afford to go to Sialkot,Lahore or Rawalpindi to further my education. Nawabxada Asghar Ali Khan deserves all the credit for continuing in the footsteps of his illustrious father Sir Fazal e Ellahi. Thank you once more for this great insight into this great institution.
